you can wash those small bags in the sink and dry it overnight. no need for the washer. a washer will eventually tear those small bags apart somewhere.
Yes! Getting a bunch of stuff ready the night before was a game changer for us too! Santa and pajama day, so fun! Literally laughed out loud at you listing the reindeer… then Ford 😂 have a nice break!
I raised 6 kids, the oldest was a permanent foster with Down syndrome, she was our daughter too, I had to be super organised at night time, all the lunches, Brekky stuff out and ready, avoid hearing “Mum, I can’t find my other shoe” by double checking the shoe rack at night, I did everything you could possibly think of to avoid utter chaos on school mornings. Our daughter with Down Syndrome required extra care and attention getting ready so my nightly routine allowed me that time in the mornings without being frantic. It was all military precision and it kept me sane and happy.
I love this, her dad does her hair! My son, who is autistic wants his hair to be buzzed every month. Our kiddos are very aware of their hair. Your daughter has great hair like her mommy. You are such a great dad!!
I’ve been watching your vlogs for awhile now and I’d like to say that I feel you and wife have created a beautiful family. The love and warmth that I feel is priceless ( that said I do not in anyway underestimate the commitment and abundance of hard work you all put in to make it that way) in a nutshell, you got this! 😊
As a dishwasher at a restaurant I can assure you that I always wear a hair net and run cups and silverware twice through so yes hair in food and drinks is a big no no for me lol
I get everything ready the night before and that's with my husband home. It's just easier. I love Abs Christmas pajamas! I hope she had fun seeing Santa at school! I just take the hair out too! It's not like it messed up the entire meal with 1 hair!🥰🥰 Have a great Friday everyone!!💚💚
I had to get one of those TubShroom things to keep it from building up in the pipes and then I close my eyes and rip the hair off of it with a paper towel 😂
Naw I can't do the hair in my food thing. I just imagine people sweating from the roots and the amount of time people touch their heads (hair). I just can't even if it is mine
I love the Topsy Tail loop! I have 2 large and 2 small ones! Mine is also long and I have to have at least a half up style due to sensory issues. I hate my hair in my face and I refuse to cut it short!
My son will try to eat his lunch we packed for breakfast too lol he doesn't want to wait. We had to buy a bicycle lock for the fridge because he just eats everything. When we took him to biofeedback we found out his body isn't absorbing nutrients from his food but rather from his bones. So that explains why he's always hungry poor guy. We are going to put him on omega 3s though to help with absorbtion of nutrients though.
One recent episode you were in the attic pulling down a really heavy bin. I am not sure what was in that bin, but you should store the lighter stuff in the attic like suitcases, and store the heavy bins in the closet 🤣 I was really worried you were going to hurt yourself!
Little late watching this, but I had to comment about the hair in food. For me I can handle any hair in food at home, but if I'm at a restaurant and find a hair that is a big no for me. I get physically sick if I find a hair when I'm at a restaurant. Isn't it strange how everyone I so different. That's what make the world an amazing thing, our diversity.
why not do her hair in the bathroom? I wouldn't do it in the kitchen. I'm with everyone else. Yes, I had a hair and my sausage one time in a restaurant that was awful! I just think hair flies and I wouldn't want that in the kitchen.
Nope nope nope!! I hate hair. I hate touching my own hair and washing it. Hair IN my food is So awful. Its a big sensory no. I hate brushing my kids hair but I deal with it.
That dog bed is made for two large dogs. We have two medium dogs and a puppy. There's plenty of room for all three of them and Maverick just got into bed last, he's normally first.
I can’t handle hair in my food! Even years later, there are certain places I cannot eat because I found a hair in my food there. I’m literally gagging as I type this!p thinking about it! On another note, Merry Christmas!🎄❤️
Just saying, there is nothing at all wrong with you doing her hair in the kitchen. What ever works the best in my home and keeps my littles happy it gets done where it gets done. You guys are doing amazing with Abbie!!!
I honestly never noticed your ocd until you mentioned it. Now I recognize it in EVERYTHING you do! Never diagnosed myself, probably not even having it, but I DO recognize the scattered parts! Start something, notice something else that needs done, then something else. By the end of the day, I’ve worked all day and (maybe) accomplished things, but rarely the first thing I started. 36+ years, husband just shakes his head at it.
What would you do if you were to teach her how to style her hair? I have CP. I did have long hair when I was younger, and I did so for about a year before cutting it off because I could not figure out how to do it on my own.
I love the way you keep everything organized, especially when you’re by yourself. You know what I really like hearing when you guys are outside the train such a relaxing sound just hearing the train, thank you, Asa to you and your family Merry Christmas. 🎄Happy holidays.
If brushing and putting Abbie's hair up in the kitchen works better for you all, who are we to criticise. Abbie is comfy sitting on the chair and appears the right height for you to do this with ease. Blessings.
I agree with the whole hair thing!! And if doing Abi's hair, there in the kitchen, makes it easier on y'all, then all means do you is BEST for your family!! (WOW long run on sentence!! Lol 🤣)And yes if hair gets on the counter, I guess that's why we have wash rags, sponge, wipes, and or paper towels. Everyone needs to relax! Ms. Abigail looking cute in her Christmas jammies!! 🎄🛷❤️
I am the same way with hair. It’s literally hair. It’s not gross. Much rather have a hair in my food or drink than some other things I’ve seen in food.
Having Hair in Your food is Gross Asa🤢Depending on where it came from, sometimes its too late to pull it out when it gets all raveled up in your food while You chewing, Lol
We have cattle dogs and inside dog and my Dad says no meal is complete without at least I dog hair.. The dogs just have to shake and their hair is in the air.. Human hair same pull it out the food and keep going.. 😂😂
Asa, I love you to the moon and back but I’ve had a hair fetish since I was probably 15 years old, I’m 72 now. Obviously my hair is short. I can’t even go shopping without keeping my eyes peeled to make sure there’s not a long, loose hair that might touch me! So brushing Abby’s hair in the kitchen just does me in, 😢 and trust me I’ve had therapy for this to no avail. Just the feel of a long hair going through my fingers and I can’t eat for 2 days. Please, I’d give anything to feel like you do so don’t discount other people’s feelings so casually. I applaud you on so many videos because I believe you’re the best Dad ever! 💖
They would have to cut it more often to keep it out of her eyes though. I think she did when she was younger. I have a fringe (what we call bands in the UK) and have to cut it as soon as it goes over my eyebrows because it feels prickly near my eyes.
"Watching how you balance the chaos and calm of bedtime feels so relatable. That mix of patience and humor is a total parenting superpower!"
Maverick is like this is not enough room. Three dogs on one bed.
I think the dogs could used a bigger bed for Christmas has a present
The dogs are all going to lay on the same bed, no matter the size 🙃
Sleeping dogs lie and they find their room. They’re a wee pack so will figure it out ❤️
@@jodiblair861 which is incorrect because Maverick obviously wanted NOTHING to do with that.
@@kaileestauffer9056 poor Maverick tries to get away from the puppy but he can't he is even in his bed
Her hair looks cute, Asa.
Santa knows what’s right. Santa can only drive what’s built tough. 😅
you can wash those small bags in the sink and dry it overnight. no need for the washer. a washer will eventually tear those small bags apart somewhere.
If I find a hair in my food it doesn't bother me much, but when I could feel the hair down my throat... that got me 😂 but it happens, everyone sheds
I can’t handle my hair being on my back, like one piece and I can’t grab it! It drives me crazy!
Yes! Getting a bunch of stuff ready the night before was a game changer for us too! Santa and pajama day, so fun!
Literally laughed out loud at you listing the reindeer… then Ford 😂 have a nice break!
I agree with you 💯! IT'S JUST HAIR!!!
Those dogs all need a twin if they are going to share....lol!
I would like to see how you train your dogs so well.
Maverick needs his own bed., not enough room for 3 dogs to stretch out. I'd also give him the snack 1st, hes the top dog.
I bet Ab woke up early because she was excited for pajama day!
As a dishwasher at a restaurant I can assure you that I always wear a hair net and run cups and silverware twice through so yes hair in food and drinks is a big no no for me lol
I feel the same Asa. The food has been exposed to more harmful bacteria in the air on its trip to your table.
that unbrush is the best brush!!
When people go to eat at a restaurant, they don’t know if their food was dropped on the floor, picked up and thrown back on the grill or not😂
I wouldn’t eat out if I thought that.
Two words. Health inspector. Two words. Law suit.
You forgot the most famous reindeer of all lol
Ford Ford the Ford Ford Ford Ford. He had a very shiny Ford.
Hi Abby from your friend Abigail. I like how dedicated her dad is to getting things together for her for the next day it really is a struggle.
Oh no, if I find a hair in my food, even if it’s mine and it’s clean I get grossed out and lose my appetite..💋🧚🏻♀️❤️🇺🇸
My goodness I thought I was the only one, read my response above 💖
I don’t get grossed out with immediate family but I would in a restaurant.
Dude lol hair is my biggest ick. I can’t even clean out my shower drain and I’m the only female that uses it.
I’m with you! Please read my response above, I thought I was the only one.
I had to get one of those TubShroom things to keep it from building up in the pipes and then I close my eyes and rip the hair off of it with a paper towel 😂
I am so glad to hear that I'm not the only one that feels this way about hair
We have 16 cattle dogs and 4 house dogs.. No meal is complete without at least 1 hair 😂😂
I need to look away also while grabbing the hair out if I see it I'll start 🤢🤢 oh and my hand is in a plastic bag 🌹🇦🇺🎄
The older you get, you forget more.
Naw I can't do the hair in my food thing. I just imagine people sweating from the roots and the amount of time people touch their heads (hair). I just can't even if it is mine
❤ I love this video so much and about the clothes I understand some people can or can’t match clothes my favorite part is the daughter and dad trio ❤
I find a hair and I’m just like “I hope that’s mine” as I pull it out and throw it on the floor to continue eating😂
I love the Topsy Tail loop! I have 2 large and 2 small ones! Mine is also long and I have to have at least a half up style due to sensory issues. I hate my hair in my face and I refuse to cut it short!

I'm the same way with hair at restaurants, Asa. I just take it out and keep on eating or drinking. I've never gotten sick from that.
i consider it bonus seasoning! the more hair the better!
@ataridc 🤣 Agreed!
Who taught you how to do hair you do an awesome job at it
One recent episode you were in the attic pulling down a really heavy bin. I am not sure what was in that bin, but you should store the lighter stuff in the attic like suitcases, and store the heavy bins in the closet 🤣 I was really worried you were going to hurt yourself!
Love this! Actually gonna use some of these tips in my house!
That is the perfect blue behind the sofa. Behr?
She’s probably wondering why dad isn’t Santa

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Merry Christmas
A little hair don’t hurt anyone!
My son and I are both neurodivergent. If I find one I am done eating. If my son finds one, he can't eat that kind of food for months.
I might suggest getting her a purse she can use.
Dog hair I can handle. Human hair yukk! 😝 🤣

Kitchen staff wear hair nets to stop hair falling in food and grossing customers out.

yup i dont care either Asa not big deal to me i pick it out and carry on to
I carry on but I am not enjoying my food as I was before the hair discovery.

She has just Accomplish to brush her hair. She doesn't have the arm strength to put it up.
Some people don’t wash their hair or have lice gross
People don't wash their hands either
@ yes but you don’t see that. I rarely eat out.
I have heard that its clean hair that have lice more often...
Maybe brush a far end of counter!

Asa what the he'll, 1 dog bed for 3 dogs? Then you keep them locked up. Birds in a tiny pen. Fish in a way small pond. You are a animal abuser.
