I just wonder if that’s the natural order of growth. When we lived in the dark ages we were much ‘less clean’. We eventually became aware of it with the renaissance and then became more. Now it seems we’re in another growth spurt where so many are able to see the ‘dirty’ state of mind of the average person and choose to rise above. I believe eventually the whole of society will be able to discern that what they put into their ears is as important as what one puts into their mouth.

I wish when you talk about a family, it was true, it’s true when everything’s ok but when you need help and you lost yourself because of hard circumstances than you don’t find the people anymore. I ask for someone to help me find my way back in meditation, just someone live who would help me a few minutes a day or a few times a week just to meditate with me and for $ even. I found nobody, zitlch, nada… very saddening but reality of this world. But Thanx for the nice calming spirit! 🙏

Sat means truth, sri means to give honour to someone great, akal means timeless being "GOD".
So. it means is " Truth is GOD".
ji means to show respect for u.
This is the first stanza from the Sukhmani Sahib ( Nectar of Peace) prayer composed by the 5th Guru of Sikhs - Guru Arjun Dev Ji! Its found at Ang No 262(page No 262) of Guru Granth Sahib - the ever living Guru (SIKH Holy Book)! Entire gurbani & Sukhmani Sahib is beautiful! It’s pure Love & peace! It can be recited night n day with every breath! All hymns of Guru Granth Sahib are sung in melodious Ragas( musical notes)! Satnam Waheguru ( Satnam- Eternal truth - changeless , permanent , creator energy)! (Whaheguru - Wow Guru where Guru means light which dispels darkness and the realisation leaves one in complete awe - another word by which Sikhs call God) . Satnam is preceded by Ek Onkar- One primal sound current - but this one is not a digit and not preceded by zero and followed by two, but the Absolute One- the Only One which pervades the universe and is the creator! In essence it means everything is One, of the One , by the One and everything n everybody is connected - we are all One n not separated - Universe- One song!! And Ek Onkar is followed by Satnam - the absolute truth( this One is permanent, unchanging, absolute- if you observe everything in this universe is in motion n vibrating n changing which includes animate n inanimate( living or the non living), whereas this One within which the entire universe is contained is constant- unchanging, untouched by birth, growth, decay & death!

Yesterday was the first time I hear Jai-Jagdeesh sing her rendition of Aad Guray Nameh from her album on Amazon and I loved it before she could get the first Aad Guray out! I had to search youtube to see if I could find it live---and here it is!!! Beautiful beyond words - the whole performance! So thankful for such beautiful voices, instruments and mantras to accompany us through this life!
