I was a 27E Y10 Tow and dragon repairman when i was in the Army in the 80's thease wepon systems are most likely not in use any longer. They were developed during the early 70's you can see them on the Braddly fighting vehicle built in the early 80's thru the 90's i believe the system has been removed as the launcher would bend over time when it was raised to launch position. There was an other system that was superior to the TOW it was called FOGM ( fiber optic guidance system) it was not used as the brass at Ft Benning got in the way and it was pure B.S. that we did not use it. The Dragon wepon system was very slow but it might still be in use as it was mostly portable but im almost positive it has been replaced with a more powerful and lighter sytem. The TOW missile system is how i made my hole career as a wire guide technician on forklifts. LOL who knew?

I favour brainstorming over the never ending weapons & counter weapons spiral. But I realise that weapons are a business that has no place within intelligent conclusion to conflict…

interesting for the historical perspective - how quickly military hardware adapts. Humans are really good at devising stuff to kill each other better
