Ukrainians are so smart and brave they deserve our support. As for all the critics it's all in the ammo and I would bet on the drones will or would get shot down regardless of angles of attack as this gun knows where all the drones are at any time as the radar sees 360 degrees and the ammo is smart and shoots like buckshot. Drones don't stand a chance with this beast on the field.

Any defense can be overwhelmed by shear numbers - the big advantage that Russia has over the entire NATO block of nations is that it can greatly exceed the West in the production of artillery shells (and there is no real defense against a barrage of artillery shells other than an offensive capability that can suppress or knock out the source of the artillery fire - Ukrainian military units are currently down to rationing the use of artillery shells at ten a day when attempting to respond to a Russian artillery strike).

Usually 100 drones aimed at a single point would be very small drones able to be defeated by electronic warfare. Moving a drone swarm off 100 larger drones makes them visible to radar and gives you time to reposition. This can take out the spotter drones, which makes the 100 drones blind to the fact that their target just repositioned.

It assumes the threat is coming from the sky, 200 feet off the ground in a tightly packed cluster it can engage with ease. If the drones come in NOE from multiple directions 10 feet off the ground, it can't depress to engage without taking out it's own personnel.

NO, the Skynex and its other systems have separate radars that can counter on any obstacle on a 360 degree basis.

no, depite being fairly powerful, that is a comparatively dumb system, throwing tons small caliber of ammunition towards the target, whereas some tempered round of the Skynex do the same job. And its obvious, there is a considerable difference in the range between a 20 mm and a 30/35mm ammo. To find that system superior, you really have to be a fanboy.
