Great review. I've just bought one, Im an electrician, so it's ideal for me when clearing up after fitting lights and sockets etc. I've got the big m class bosch dust extractor too , that's a great machine, but this cordless one is perfect for clearing up after a few small jobs. Im Very impressed with it.

Hi i was wondering, do you think this vacuum would be powerful enough to use to clean my car inside on the carpets and to remove dog hair inside my house? I got a Bosch 5ah battery and was going to buy a pet portable dustbuster which costs about $300 for the car and house for pet hair, but came across this and since I already got the battery I was hoping this would do the job.
I also like how you can buy new batteries for this unlike other portable vacuums and this looks very tough and seems it would last a long time. Im just worried about it not being powerful enough and if you could buy other attachments for it, that might be more suitable for my car and pet hair?

Hi John, sorry about the delay in replying to you, I've been off UA-cam for a while. Regarding this vacuum it's quite powerful for what it is, I use it to vacuum out my car. The only issue I find with it is the hose is a little short for that application. I have a 4x4 and getting to the middle of the back seat means lifting the vacuum and sitting it on a seat to get the reach.
As for dog hair, it depends on the accessories you use with it, I find vacuums that have a power head (rotating bristles) are best for hair especially in carpet. Any accessories that have the same hose diameter can be used with this. Like i said its pretty powerful so no issues turning a third party power head if that's what you want to use it for.

Hey thanks for the review. Do you think is this going to be good as a small portable in house/car vacuum? Is the suction good enough? Thank you!

MemoKab93 Bosch Australia sent it to me to test and review. They are coming out this year and definitely worth the wait. One of my favourite tools of last year

Good review thanks , I’m thinking of getting this but do you think the filter will cope ok with fine brick dust as I have the old 18v handheld one and the filter just blocks up straight away and I want this for hoovering up small bits of masonry and fine brick dust ?

Craig H thanks mate, I've used this connected to an angle grinder cutting compressed fibro and even after the filter was covered in dust it still performed effortlessly with great suction! It's a testament to the power and suction of the motor. Being a wet/dry vac you can wash out the filter to keep it performing at its best

Hi do you now what the biggest Ah battery that can fit inside that lid, thank you

scott pearce hi Scott, it's been designed with Bosch's latest battery in mind so easily fits the 6.3Ah eneracer/core battery. There is a 12Ah battery coming next year but can't confirm if that'll fit. Run time on the 6.3ah is impressive
