I'm a very "Ignorance is Bliss" kind of person~ I don't understand how you can just kill the live octopus like that and then enjoy eating it. I just don't get it >
1:30 to a few seconds onward.. That thing they snipped? That's connected to the main nervous system of the octopus, so that was actually a merciful kill. The reason why the tentacles still move after it's death is a more independent wiring of the nervous system of octopus in their appendages compared to mammals. This type of killing, I prefer. What I don't like is when some just toss the octopus into boiling water. Of course it's fast, but that shit might have felt hellish to the octopus. I hope relieving your ignorance to this octopus thing also gave you some sort of relief.
