@@deelaljee9176 Kim is not an old-fashioned woman. She didn't know anything about what's normal in India.
She doesn't know about having to be a baby-producer and maid for ALL days, EVERY day.
Also the mom didn't take Yash's side. The day before that was when Kim went crazy about their apartment and TJ went downstairs, cried, complained and slept there.
That's when the mom was like WTH is going on with her rude behavior. It's ok, they're all watching the episodes now and will see how much Kim is lying.
Don't worry though, by now TJ and Kim have moved away to another house.

@michaeladove7269 Kim has nothing going for her in life. No education, career, etc. Isn't having a baby and starting a family part of marriage? Isn't the homemaking part of marriage? 4:00 As is often the case with programs like this, a person gets to say things like they lived with an abusive partner or “toxic environment” in her case, and it goes unchallenged or checked.
Did she really live in a toxic environment? It is possible considering her personality red flags, but the same red flags mean you can’t just take it as fact as toxic can mean she didn’t get her own way because there were other kinds to consider too. Also there were a lot of kids she lived with, but that’s similar to going to school, there’s always times when things happen like name calling and even fights. Does that mean a school is a toxic environment?
Also even though your social class doesn’t have a direct impact on being in a toxic environment, from the looks of the first photo, it seems like she was lucky to live in quite a nice house, the second tells us they went on outings. In toxic environments the kids are usually an after thought so family days out like that are less likely. On top of that, her father and step mum are flying out to India for her wedding, so again this is evidence that things aren’t too bad on that front.
All of the evidence, except her entitled personality point to her idea of a toxic environment being an insult to people who grew up in toxic environments. Ironically those who do grow up in toxic environments don’t usually recognise it (it can take many years to realise anything was wrong because it’s their normal), so are unfortunately less likely to even say they did. Meanwhile the people who are just spoiled and entitled get all of the wasted attention that those who genuinely did, don’t get.
Toxic environment “family meetings often turned to chaos”. Someone actually from a toxic home “what’s a family meeting?”.
8:55 But I thought she was brought up in a toxic home. So how would there be a stark contrast that dawns on her?? Unless she wasn’t.
10:10 And just remember this one sided account of the argument she is giving when weighing up what she has said about growing up in a toxic environment. Another clue that maybe the only thing toxic about the environment was her. As a side note when he was “trashing” her culture. The only reason this may have happened is because he was possibly told what she had said about Indian culture. It’s easy to conclude that he didn’t already feel his culture was being attacked when he said it because I don’t think we know whether her attack was shared.

I dont really feel bad for TJ hes been lying to/misleading her about her responsibilities as a wife because he knows she wont accept it and so he's trying to trap her in India he knows shes oblivious to the expected household chores of a traditional indian wife and so it falls on him if he actually loves her to explain to her what the mairrage and chores will be like instead of willfully keeping her ignorant
but being so unrespeosive to cultural norms tells me she thinks shes still going to be able to act as an american wife just in another country
She has acted enttilted to an extreme amount though i cant believe she was so ungrateful for the work he put into their apartment

He slept with his mommy the first night Kim got there, so of course he’ll keep sleeping with her. He even thought it was a good idea to ask Kim to join him and his mom in bed after that first argument instead of joining Kim in what’s supposed to be their own bed. But you can’t really call it the family bed when the dad has to sleep on the living room floor after the mom had a fight with him 20 years ago. 😂

There's nothing wrong with ripped jeans. Having said that, I can see why his parents (mother, whatever...) would want her to show more respect regarding what she wears. If you have to wear jeans, fine, but don't wear ripped ones. And her jeans are TOO ripped; there's a fine line. IMO, they don't even look good. Just saying. Thank you for the video! 😍xx

He’s a huge red flag and they do have issues WHats gonna happen after the marriage when she’s told she gotta cook and clean for a family that doesn’t like you? And tbh I come from a Indian family and I’ve seen so many times the men taking the families side. Pls run 😂living with in laws in the WORST idea ever for a brand new married couple
