Yes, hate seeing tiny heels or pointed heels with flares and bells. Round toe platforms and chunky heels are the best! Glad I found your channel. Finally someone that gets it and has my same thoughts on clothing and how they should be styled. Superb!

I love fashion for balancing my figure. I have a short waist and long legs so my go-to's are a low waisted skinny or cigarette with my favorite Tory Burch flats and a top tucked in with a nice belt and blazer. Or high waisted jean of the same style with the top lower than the waistband. On days when I am a bit heavier/holding water I will do the same but jeans with a kick at the bottom to balance my hips. Love Drey by Rag and Bone... I live in them. I too wear a chunky shoe with my flair jeans - my personal favorite is Dansko. Loving their designs these days. Fashion is transformative! :). Our eyes love symmetry - it is all about balance, I agree.

@@user-ii4rq5ko3x hi im not sure of your price range or where your from but 2 places spring to mind which have a selection of great Jean's for all different shapes and sizes,George at asda,they do all different styles at great prices too including shaper Jean's and high waisted I've tried lots of the different ones that they have in store or online,
I find them to be very good indeed,another great buy are the vintage 'mom' Jean's in Primark £15 they actually look and feel more expensive than they are,hope you find that of some help 😊

Trinny, I completely agree with you about the "Mom" jeans: Never again, I don't care how "popular" they may be. However, I feel the exact way about animal print. I wasn't ever that much into the animal print fad. Back in the 90's I adopted it only with minor accessories, like a small clutch or a cute flat. But no more. I just don't like it. But I enjoy seeing other folks wearing it well. Thanks for this informative video about proportion!
Trinny - Just discovered your youtube and am enjoying your knowledge and stylings immensely. The best jeans ever, and I've bought a ton of them now, are Not Your Daughter's Jeans (NYDJ) - Oprah loves them and I first saw them at Bloomingdales in Los Angeles. They sell a ton on QVC. Just the best and ultra comfortable. They offer many styles, but I love their Ami Skinny - Also love their their Marilyn Straight jeans that are slightly flared at the bottom, but not as flared as a a boot cut - incredibly flattering and go best with open toe sandals / platforms / or a boot. They also have cropped jeans. The best thing is that the fabric and stylings make you look a size smaller.
i love Next relaxed skinny as i'm more curvy around the bottom and these fit a dream - they do in between sizes so my go to is a size 13 regular x

Also, as far as jeans and body shape are concerned, if you feel that your upper body is too long at the expense of your legs, try and have jeans with back pockets that are tactically positioned higher not low on the bottom and keep the front details to a minimum to elongate optically the thighs.

I struggle to find jeans as they are skinny and high waist, I want the old style! I bought some from next one out of 6 pairs ordered, within 20 mins they had stretched and looked so scruffy. Only had 1% Lycra. I’m size 12 ish 5’5” with thick ish thighs. Love your styling. X
I’m not sure if Trinny will see this but hopefully her team will. Zara are doing those wide leg jeans that the Trinny triber bought her a a lovely gift. The are online now under palazzo jean. They are slightly lighter but same style. Hope she buys them xx

I like to wear chunky platform sandals with wide leg jeans! I think they are the best with them. But the jeans must still skim the floor so that you only really get a good peak at the shoe when you walk or step forward

I’m a coat/ jacket person too and end up looking overdressed at times (since most people are in sweatshirts where I live) but I don’t care since I feel I look put-together :-).

Trinny, I love your videos, especially closet confessions.❤️ I´m looking forward to the one about yellow, because I love this joyful colour as well! 💛But I have to say, sometimes you give your recommendations mainly from your perspective. For example: When you say, every woman needs a sequin piece in their wardrobe, it´s simply not true. Except from the circumstance that not everyone has occasion or the courage to wear it in their everyday life, it doesn´t flatter everybody. It doesn´t suit everbody, the metallic material is not for every essence. But it suits YOU so well! Having seen the majority of your videos - and enjoyed them so much - I think you are leaning more towards cool colours. They make you glow and fresh. There´s a little bit neutral as well, that´s why you can wear some warmer colours, but in general you are cool - meaning it in 2 ways!😊 Btw: Have you seen the black belt and the big nacklace at Zara, that remembering me so, so much of your favorite belt, the one which you tried to copy some time ago for qvc, and the nacklace of your mother. Check them out if you haven´t done that already. I bought them, having you in mind and I can´t wait to wear them!🌻
I am a jean addict and have in the region of 50 pairs!! There are however some ‘when I am skinnier’ pairs that need to go!

Over here with a 38” leg! Until ASOS I could never wear full length jeans and honestly I’m still not sure what cut to buy, so I’ve just ended up in black skinny legs, but as an hourglass maybe I should try a flare🤷🏼♀️😂

I almost disagreed with your “when I’m thinner” comment because I decided to lose 2stone and get back into all my old size 10 clothes.. however as my body shape has changed I still threw them out!

After the mom jean observations and not wearing jeans just for the cool factor, the cropped jeans surprise me. They are a trend that make everyone but gamines, who are short, look short. They are the epitome of trend/"cool": Not flattering on most, but everyone is wearing them.
My mom has very long legs and a tiny upper body, she has skinny legs and but,if she puts on weight it's around her tummy!!! You are so right. I hate mom jeans 😝😝😝, I never wore them when I was younger and now as a mom I am definitely NOT wearing them!!!!

I think I remember an older video which recommended pointed toe shoes with wide leg pants to elongate the line of the leg. Am I mistaken?

Do you know that I saw that Oprah episode and NEVER FORGOT IT! You were running around a department store and telling women that the high waisted jeans made their rears look too long. I don't know why, but I have thought about it so many times and have used that line on women that I have worked with. It's so completely true. When I found you on youtube recently, and realized who you were, I was just thrilled. You're such fun and have a great delivery.
