Preparing for the Extreme Mustang Makeover//Mustang Maneuvers w/Camille's Mustangs

- **Guys. The signs we took are old. They’re beat down and weathered on the side of the road. The election one (we checked before we took it) was from last summer/fall and the election is over. The Christmas lights one is old. The other two (I can’t remember what they are right now) are old. Relax, and stop being so quick to judge. This is a fun, safe place... enjoy the video and be happy, or leave! That is all from today’s PSA 🤣**
Yesterday Lynx, Roulette, and I arrived back in Texas, but this time we went to Camille's place! We're super excited to be filming some videos together to share with you all. We trailered out to a local arena in this and did a mini prep for some of the EMM classes we'll have to show in. We practiced mustang maneuvers, which is one of the three prelim classes, and compulsory which is for the top 10. We based the patterns off of what we normally have to ride in past makeovers. Luckily, by doing this ahead of time, we can see where we need to focus with Luna and Roulette before the makeover. Both of them were pretty good but not perfect... plenty to work on! Let me know if there's any other videos you want to see from Camille and I... we're planning on filming a lot while I'm here. Hey guys! Please read the description. The one candidate sign that we took, the election for that was over last summer. We checked before we took it. The sign is weathered and beat pretty bad. To me, leaving it out like that for so long after it’s needed is a form of littering. Might as well put use to it rather than have it decompose on the side of the road 👍 (seriously, read the descriptions of my videos lol)

Those signs - I thought it was rather noble of a couple girls to clean up the mess after others had left it there.

I love Rue so much my family is sick of me talking about her. I even say "my horse" when referring to her. So... it's going to be so sad when "my horse" is sold at auction.

Ha! They made that illegal to steal election signs, where I live. One night we got a bit tipsy and went to my brother in laws house and put up like 20 signs in his yard for a candidate he hated. His daughter said his eyes popped out of his head when he opened the blinds the next morning.. 😂

Love seeing your collab videos! But I do miss the frequent updates going in to detail with Rue. Can’t wait to watch you compete in Texas! Traveling from Southeast MO! I wanted to compete in the KY EMM but I have no room for more mustangs at the moment. Hoping to compete in 2021😄
Congrats on the Collab! It's amazing to watch you both work on these mustangs and get them to settle down! It's been really enjoyable to watch the process. Sam I think you're kind of a bad ass, 'cause I watched some of those horses come at you and you just get right back in their face and show them what a mistake that would be! So yeah, I've been impressed for a while! Thanks for the great content! I subbed Camille and I actually seen a few videos of her previously! Good job y'all! :)

Why do you mainly ride English Sam? Cause it’s like you’re dress really western but you seem to ride English a lot
Lex The Equine it’s just my preference! I feel more comfortable in an English saddle and I can feel the horse better. I go back and forth between wearing jeans and breeches haha, but yeah right now I’m in the jeans phase 😜

1:47 - purple haze in the stables. I was taught that a horse is most vulnerable to catching a cold in the hind quarters. This complete cover up has a special function that I am not aware of? (what is it?)

at what point did you feel like you didn't have trust issues with Rue anymore? Would you still be worried about her being charge or dominant in certain situations?
Probably about two months in? I’d have to watch footage back. I know how she thinks and handles certain situations now so no I’m not worried about her
Are you hypermobile in some of your joints, or are they just extra flexible because of the work you do? It might be because of an odd angle to the camera, but I couldn't help but notice that at 8:34-8:41 your fingers definitely seem to bend further backwards than most people's

6:00 I also love me a dead cat (the name given to these hairy fabric cond..., apologies, socks you pull over a microphone to make it less sensitive to wind noise. Money may be too tight to mention, but you girls are so clever that you might be able to improvise something. Compared to a mustang, this is nothing.
You can eliminate wind noise by cutting a small section from the cuff of a sock,rubber band it over the microphone. Easy fix👍
Hmm... I’ll have to see where the microphone is on my camera. I’m not actually sure! If I figure it out I’ll try this! Thanks!

@@SamVanFleet I'm surprized they don't get after candidates to pick up their signs after elections. Leaving them out for months is so trashy. Way to run for local office!
