My car WAS financed. Paid it off within 2 years. Made extra payments and had it go towards the principal while making my regular payments. Never had to worry about the car getting repo.
That's called being a responsible adult. You don't get brownie points for paying bills. This isn't kindergarten where you get a star for doing something good.
That’s a 10 yr old car. One of those $600 down, $300/month car notes even with high interest rates the driver should haven’t had problems paying off. Probably paid over $5000 more than it’s worth. If they’re living in a motel chances are they’re flat out broke with horrible credit. Off to the auction block!
Did that job for a month, made zero money and alot of repos were from old ladies who had money who forgot to pay their bills and afraid to answer a phone when their is so many scanners out there ...I got out fast it's one really crap job with no pay unless you steal property back for a company who's sole game is risk and can't handle risks
Most states require vehicles be strapped down/secured during transports. Many also give allowances where the car can be towed a short/reasonable distance in order to get it to a safe place and be secured. High risk accident scenes and repos are a couple of examples where those allowances would apply. That being said, not all tow drivers follow or care to obey these laws.
I love this, unfortunately you risk your life everyday taking back what lowlifes are stealing. Just curious, have you ever lost one before you could secure it?
Very true. Yes I have had people take off while trying to back under it. I've had them drive off the boom while lifting it up. There's a video of one driving off the boom at the gas station you should check out.
You know when you buy a car make sure you pay for it! Don't get one that payments are not going to be made like one you can really afford and not the expensive because your just asking to get it repoed! You know how hateful it would be to take your date to the hotel then get done and try to leave but the repo man took your only ride

Really?,,,I'm surprised...thought loaners would pay up to get their vehicles back.
I was in the repo business in Florida for several years and did very well. The repo world is not for everyone.

Lol we can drag it with the e-brake on. We also have tools to get inside the car quickly to unset e-brake.
