Si Soriano #7 binato ng bola si Jaworski #7 (wishing him in good health) parehong palaban eto noong rivalry ng 2 team na ito. As usual jam-packed ang Araneta basta Toyota-Crispa, Kahit sa radyo dami nakikinig. These 2 team gave name to the PBA. Thx for this video, it brings back memories. 😊
Sweet memories. I did not remember this particular game. But I remember those times of my early childhood when PBA started in the mid 70's and the Crispa Toyota rivalry. I think there were no national basketball before PBA or there maybe some Leagues but not as popular. My uncles and his friends would come to our house to watch PBA on our black and white national brand tv. There were also times when just me and my late father would watch PBA.
well... according to Lost Media Wiki: "It is known that in the 1960s, MBC's DZRH-TV Channel 11 televised MICAA with Dick Ildefonso and Gabby Tabaniag. In some years of 1960s and early 70s, ABS-CBN's DZXL-TV Channel 4 televised MICAA with Emy Arcilla and Dick Ildefonso.[3][4] GTV-4 (now PTV-4) televised MICAA coverages until its dissolution in 1981.[5] Personal video recordings of coverages are unknown if existed. Several pictures of the games survived but video recordings of them aren't yet resurfaced. There is a low chance a TV video recording will also resurface" well that means all televised MICAA games are lost.
according to Lost Media Wiki: The inaugural game of PBA on April 9, 1975, is lost, there is only a surviving photograph with Ms. PBA (Mia Montemayor) tossing the ceremonial ball between Cisco Oliver of Mariwasa and Ramon Lucindo of Concepcion. It is known that the first game was aired after the second game in 1975 on KBS-9 (now RPN-9/CNN Philippines) and GTV-4 (now PTV-4) in 1978 after the 30-minute news. The oldest known surviving footage of PBA is from November 12, 1976, during the Toyota-Crispa fight uploaded by Jojo Bailon.[4] PBA themselves released 1980s PBA footage, the earliest is July 8, 1982,[5] while the earliest full game footage not uploaded by PBA is from 1980. Although there are scenes uploaded from the 1970s-1980s, only a few of them has a full game, with some uploaded by PBA themselves. The first seven seasons of the league's coverages are believed to be lost. Several playoffs games, including Ginebra games, are believed to be missing on the PBA Archives. It is believed that some clips or even full matches are in the hands of private collectors.
Siguro 1974 or 75 yong year nag start ang PBA. Crispa vs. Toyota.

Thank you for the video, the quality for it being so old is fantastic! Would be a tremendous treat for all the Crispanatics to watch the whole game.
TT Gfghy hu
Thank you for the best audio and video quality possibly available. Requesting for more videos of this era of Philippine basketball
I was going to comment about that last lay up, wala pa palang 3pt line noon... Classic talaga ito!

Remeber Rodulf Kutch?
Why is the video quality better than like 70% of the movies released during that time until the 90s 💀💀💀
Crispa would go on to win game 5 after this and eventually winning their first grand slam in 1976.

Dick Ildefonso and the late Emy Arcilla were the play-by-play commentators.
"Maka-Crispa yan" is what my Dad, a Toyota fan, would always say about these two.
Sana may MICAA na Games during at least the 70's. Mas ok kung 60's
WALA NA YUNG TV NETWORK

Thanks!! More Toyota games please!!!
Sir, pls post more PBA 1975-1983 games.

1976 PBA All-Philippine Championship.
sana meron full game nito.
Was that Quenito Henson the one who commentate this game? If that so sobrang tagal na talaga niyang commentator wow...
Si Dick Ildefonso yan. Hindi pa nag cocommentator si Quinito in the 1970s. Emy Arcilla and Dick Ildefonso ang regular commentators noon.
Correct, and they’re both good and articulate in speaking. 😊
More rare 70s PBA more interesting to watch than today's

I'm still excited watching this🤪I'm an avid Crispanatics🥰
Hope to see more post of classic battle between Toyota and Crispa
Yung dribble nun bagsak bagsak lng ng bola, wala pang cross over 😊😊🤣🤣🤣

Whats the height of Francis Arnaiz ? ty po sa sagot?
wala pang line ang 3 points shots ahaha 😅
Wala pang 3 pt. Noon. Tsaka na inintroduce ung 3 pt. Shot nung 1979.
I remember the 6'10 Cyrus Mann he first played for a visiting Brazilian team and was asked to play for Crispa
Palmera Brasilia.
One of the tisoys of early PBA.

The year I was born ..wow so classic
Ang intense nung laban. Kala ko mag rumble sina Jawo and Soriano e
But instead of Jawo it became Soriano and Segura. Biggest and bloodiest rumble in PBA history
Bakit ganun?
Wala pang 3 point line this era.
Crispa will win Game 5 to complete a Grandslam championship. Grandslam din ang Toyota pero as runners-up.
If there had been a 3 pt line…
nobody notices it,but the PBA then uses the trapesoid freethrow area til 1982
Sayang no 3point line pa nun 76', 80s pa ata ngkarun. OT sana
Wala pang Three point dati hehe
wala pang 3 points shot.
