@Peter Myers My wife loves them noodles, but I'm not that keen. I've got some lucky boat no2 noodles in the cupboard, and if I can use them up instead of having to go to the shop and spending £1 a tub, it would save me a few quid :D
Also to anyone that understand there palette you taste buds can change especially when the Initial flavour wasn’t what you expected, so I kept tasting, all your comment does is show you don’t understand flavour 😂😂😂😂😂
Never had an issue with pouring out the water, i've had these as a broth type and dry. Yakitori chicken is my favourite, also have tried peking duck and teryaki beef.
Bro soba noodles are SO GOOD Like i swear all my life i have been trying noodles and all of them where trash but THESE . I have never in my life ate noodles and actually finished them ❤ I think i just found my fav comfort snack😊
Usually the pouring issue is only if you tip it too far. The 2 top holes provide ventilation, if water is coming out from there, it's either overfilled or the angle you're pouring is too steep. Normally I'd buy the Green or Blue lid flavours, but lately I've not been enjoying them much and have been having their Peking Duck flavour instead and found I enjoy it the most currently.
I just tried for the first time the soba brand, never had seen it before and never tasted anything like it. The seasoning is spot on. I usually don’t like the cup noodles because it tastes too synthetic? Or it always leaves me wanting more texture. This you can feel the onions and chicken cubes etc etc. all the vegetables. Nicely seasoned. I tried the Yakirtori Chicken and oh my goodness it’s delicious.
Asian people trying “fast noodles” with a packet sauce. Not surprised they did not love them. These lovely 2 clearly know authentic Asian flavours and frankly whoever invents something that is instant and as good as the real McCoy is gonna be a multi millionaire. Personally think Soba are really good. Chilli and Classic my favourites. Leave a little off the water in when I empty as feels a little dry with a complete drain. Always want more when finished one. Flavour lingers waaaaaaay after I’ve finished. Enjoyed watching this review, thanks 🙏
you realise cup noodles, specifically the brand they’re eating here (Nissin) are a japanese invention and are some of the more popular foods over there.
I think the yakitori one is the best out of the group too, but in my Tesco they sell the same ones but not in a pot it’s in a packet and the chilli one of the packets is nicest. Great video though 😀
I've only tried the Classic and the Teriyaki, and I much preferred the Classic to be honest. The Teriyaki was too salty. Added shredded chicken and spring onions to the Classic. Banging.
Koka noodles. Try them next they cost 30p a packet. Not the bowls tho, they aren't the same. They do chicken, beef, curry, shrimp and stir fry. The stir fry is the tatsy one but the chicken is the classic 👌 culture in a packet for housing schemes in Scotland
In super noodles per pack there is 0.7G of salt not even a gram, in koka noodles there is 3GS of salt that’s half your recommended daily salt intake 😂. Koka are so unhealthy
Quick tip: don't overpower your Mum as she's got an opinion too. Also pausing the camera and discussing off camera would be a good idea and help get your Mum's opinion into the scores more easily. She's lovely God bless her.
I got a few flavours of these in Tescos during the week on special and I just tried one of them, seriously whoever is behind them need to get a really good ad campaign together, cause they just taste like more 👍👍👍
Hi nice review. Can you recommend me any better alternatives to these please? Preferably with no meat. Or maybe you can recommend what to flavour supermarket bought egg noodles with, and where to find it? Thanks!
I used to eat and absolutely love pot noodles, when they took all the rubbish out of them they tasted awful like eating cardboard noodles....then we got onto koka noodles they are okay, these soba noodles though I only have had the chilli ones and they are the best by far!!!! Need to try the other flavours
I really didn’t like them, they kind of tasted like when noodles are old, they start to go slimy from rot and taste sour like these, but like we say each to there own :)
I love these, great quality, however to this day I don't get the idea of putting too much water in and draining off - just seems odd. I prep them with the right amount of water and they're fine... I do normally add more chilli :) These are a step up from pot noodles... mind, saying that, Bombay Bad Boys (With extra chilli sauce) are the bomb!
I have only tried the teriyaki- tastes like beef hula hoops- the consistency of the noodles is 100 times better than pot noodle, like proper noodles. The only issue is the flavouring it’s like the one they put in crisps, a bit artificial. I don’t think they’re quite as bad as this review makes out though.
These are ok, but too sweet for me. I find the best ones are the itsu range and its all proper made theres no powders but a little more expensive and are sold in tesco
lol, love the reactions to the different flavours. Seen them, but not tried them myself and after that I think I'll give them a miss. Thanks for the reviewing guys, another job well done...
I think nongshim noodles in the cup are the best tasting cup noodles, it tastes way better than the packet version. But the only thing is it has about 700 calories in it 😂
Ill hopefully be trying these the next few days if a shop near me has em Not sure the brand of the pot noodles ive been having but they arent that nice got a feeling imma like soba brand
Time to make Chin & Choo Noodles for the superstore shelves!. Sounds quite easy to do really, dried noodles, chicken stock or what ever flavouring and thats it, £1.80 a pop, add an enviromentally friendly container for the posh shops £2.50 all for 25p's ingredients :-).
Chin & Choo, I love your videos!! ❤ I used to eat the Teriyaki noodles all the time before I turned veggie. So now I cannot eat them. Can you make a video on how to replicate the Teriyaki noodles, but make the veggie? That would be elite!! ❤❤
Got to remember these guys palettes are far superior and on another level than the average Joe lol they’re chefs. It’s amazing how they can identify specific ingredients in the pots of noodles. Still love the noodles tho.
I've just discovered you and your mum's channel via this video and seen that you both don't post very regularly now which seems a real shame, but wish you both all the best! Your Mum's English is impeccable too. I don't say this in a patronising way, it's just damn impressive. I'm mixed race born in England, my dad came over from india as a kid and he married my mum who is a person not of colour/native. I wished my dad would have taught me some Punjabi, can you speak Chinese (I use this name rather than naming all of the different sub languages that I know exist!
People are usually comparing all cup noodles to the infamous Pot Noodle lol, which are terrible, very hard noodles with next to nothing in the sauce packet. You could try the Itsu rice noodles too
2 місяці тому
pot noodles are great if you pour them correctly. if one makes them too watery they lose their flavour. pot noodles should have only enough water for the noodles and powder to soak up but there should be no watery broth on top once ready, the noodle should soak up all the water. do it like this an trust me pot noodle taste great.
I really dont like these......shin cup noodles are the only ones I have found that are decent. Block type noodles there are loads of good ones.....but I'm getting older now so cant be too much of a chubby!😀
nah, idc I agree w the other ones being meh but yakatori chicken is amazing and everyone I’ve shown it to has been blown away and my Japanese friends love it
I Know this is a mad question. But would you be able to use fish (code or haddock) with the batter for the chicken balls? I'm thinking of having better fish and chips than the soggy shit of the local chip shop
I still love Shin cups.. in fact now I need to go to Wai Yee Hong to stock up. I have seen these but never felt the urge to buy them, to me they look like expensive pretentious wannabes, the sort a bearded hipster would want, but get me being all judgemental hahahaha all that from just the packaging and cost.
No there not, there made by westmills food ltd, I know as I buy direct from them (99% of takes us can’t because they don’t have the volume) blue dragon is made by ab world foods ltd
I’m absolutely addicted to the chilli ones could eat them day in day out and I think the water draining design is so cool.
Try nongshim bowl noodles. Tell me what you think. Im addicted to them
I don't even drain the water I like to drink all the water at the end when I'm finished, yum!!
Please!!!! Do you know what sauce it is? I want to make it at Home!!!
I feel like you're both scared to disagree with eachother so you agree with eachother
Omg me too😂
I switched to these brands of noodles, and safe to say I'm never going back to bachelor's super noodles. These are epic.
Nice, like we say, just because we don’t rate them doesn’t mean there not good :)

@TheWoodIsPoo how were they

Personally I like the classic
My favourite is the classic
SO in case you didn't know Nissin is a Japanese food company they were the first to invite the pop noodle known as "Cupnoodle" back in 1971

Teriyaki, Peking duck and Chili are the best🤣
Classic is the best. Some people just are so nit picky about food in general. Believe me if you really are hungry you wouldn't diss food like that.

Can you do another video on your favourite noodles? Would be really interested to see what you recommend.
Yes great idea
