Thanks sis’, I am Pastor but I like your sincerity and honest talk.
You spoke well, we try to warn them that you can’t mix culture with Christianity but they always say we are acting too holy.❤

I agree with you Iya 💯 It’s time we stand up for our tradition! 🤍💪🏾✊🏾 We should never allow anyone to disrespect us or Ifa! We have every right to speak up against those who are trying to abuse us as practitioners or disrespect Isese! That ish won’t fly with us now a days. We will treat everyone accordingly!

They have appropriated our traditional heritage and divination for their foreign religions. It's good that you're calling them out on it!

As always, your explanation was wonderfully articulated. It's important for our people to understand that embracing a particular way of life should never be enforced. But when one indiscriminately blend different ideologies together, it leads to confusion and a lack of respect. won gbesin sori, won gbagbe ile. Ride on Iyanifa !!

They want to say whatever they like about/against others and expect a pat on the back from them... how psychotic!

Excellent 👌🏾. Lots of information in your video. I have a question. From the narration, the 16 ikinfa found in the baby’s palms is why Babalawos now use 16. The Babalawo that was consulted for the journey, how many ikinfa did he use? The story is clear however , this one question can to mind.

Ikinfa isn’t the only method of divination in Ifa. He could have used something else entirely

Please let them use these terms, perhaps it will bring more people to the Isese Community and free us from these foreign religions that have arrested lots of us. Most of us are now researching what our forefathers left behind , which we have previously jettisoned .

What terms are you referring to?

@mizhoneydrop ; Sometimes, people use some words without understanding the true meaning. However, it is also a way of creating awareness about Isese itself. A lot are now realising that Christianity and Islam have been used to deprive us of our heritage, and most of us are gradually embracing Isese. That is my view anyway!

The intentions of the two religions is to conquer, defeat, suppress African beliefs and practices, our traditions, culture, and heritage.
