I have to say that once you get a grip of the strategy, which is not too hard if you're not trying too hard, is the fact that you easily spot a trade that is likely to go against your risk giving you enough time to cut your losses likewise with a trade that is likely to go in your favor. This isn't a safe way to turn negative trades into winning trades. Eventually we will hit our stop loss and the trade will close, it doesn't just stay open, unless you have some special software on the trading platform you use, that doesn't require a stop loss. You have to think about the people getting into trading as a way to better their lives, not people who have 40K lying around to invest into forex as the average person doesn't have that sum of money just readily available to invest.

That really depends on your risk to reward ratio. You can decide if you want to take profits that are two times of what you are risking etc
