This past summer (2019), we met a new friend Jason, who is the CEO of the Catalina Island medical center in the city of Avalon. Jason mentioned to us that he was in charge of a campaign for the Catalina Island Medical Center Foundation. This goal of this campaign is to raise money to build Catalina Island, a much needed, state of the art medical center. Jason asked us if we could be one of the big-ticket auction items from the list. We would provide a three-night stay on the stoked on a fishing yacht, two days of fishing on our Stoked On Fishing Charters 35-foot everglades, and provide fantastic food and drinks when we arrived back in Avalon. We love Catalina, and the idea of creating a hospital for the future of the Island was a no brainer. We couldn't let this great opportunity go to waste, and had epic two days of fishing in San Clemente Island with some new friends.
Catalina Island Medical Center Foundation has a purpose to is to help facilitate quality health care on Santa Catalina Island. The Foundation aims to inform the public of the goals and guiding principles of the Catalina Island Medical Center and works to provide funding and resources to help achieve them. Last year I went to catalina, yellowtail were blowing up on my iron, and I wasn’t thinking, and using 25 pound with a surface iron. Lost my jig and my fish, but I’m going back later this year, and gonna get it back
