He did drastically change the style of his voice in the early 80’s. It became a lot stronger and he used a lot less falsetto. His voice change coincided with his newer more masculine look. Coincidently when he started getting sicker his voice became weaker and started sounding more like 1970’s Freddie Mercury. Add on to that, he lost his mustache around that time too. We so often read & hear of Freddie’s “tragic last days.” That they *were* his last, coming as soon as they did & as difficult as they were to endure, physically & emotionally, was certainly terribly sad. However, he was able to spend his final months more or less as he chose, if not in the privacy he’d have wished for his friends, his family, & himself. He passed in the home he loved, surrounded by the people (and cats!) he loved best & who clearly loved him. All in all, as “good” an end as could be had.
Freddie was really true when he hold in his rare interviews ; "I just want to be happy, and I just want to have fun as much as I can !" Hope you have found your paradise Darling

I hardly think he knew that was gonna be his last xmas, it's not like he said to himself, ohh this will be my last xmas, I'm gonna die on the 24th of November next year 🤨
@@davebain7858 My reference was in relation to seeing Freddie Mercury here whilst *we, the viewers, know that it would be his last Christmas.* We know when he died and therefore that this would be the last time Freddie would celebrate a Christmas with his loved ones. It is thus a bittersweet video from our perspective. In regards to Freddie himself, it's impossible to say how he felt at this time about his outlook. What I have read to date including, of course, the book written by his partner then husband, Jim Hutton, certainly does not suggest that Freddie was thinking in terms of any event being his 'last'. It was not until close to his death that Freddie said he wanted all the treatments he'd been undergoing for AIDS ceased, and from then on he relied primarily on diamorphine to manage the physical pain. So, please understand my original comment in terms of being from the perspective of viewers of the video, not of Freddie Mercury.
@@Adara007 Indeed, according to what Hutton told in his book, Freddie made plans to spend Christmas 1991 at Montreux. He wanted some stuff to be completed by that time. At some point he must have feld so wasted that he gave up on that - and after four and a half years battling the disease, he had every right to pick his time.
Mary was always Freddie’s #1 girl. It’s very sweet. I do believe they are soulmates. Jim too. Soulmates are not limited to romantic partners, they can be anyone you’ve incarnated with before, including friends, family, and even pets. It does seem Mary and Freddie’s bond was very strong. As was Jim and Freddie’s, just in different ways.
I agree. Freddie couldn't help being gay but I think he wished he could make a life with Mary as her husband and that's the reason he told her at the end, "If things had been different, you would be my wife and all of this would be yours anyway" when she told Freddie the amount he was leaving was too much. Love Freddie and Mary.
It's weird to think we love Freddie and know him well but there are people, like Roger and Brian that have beautiful memories of him and them being together it just makes me sad that I can't have those memories too but I am very grateful to be able to see these videos. I love you Freddie
Caroline Lyall unless you met and was best friends with him you wouldn't have known him well. You only know the public persona. These videos only show the show offy side Infront of the camera. So who knows what he was actually like without anything to perform for
However, he was able to spend his final months more or less as he chose, if not in the privacy he’d have wished for his friends, his family, & himself.
He really valued his privacy I hope he'd forgive us for missing him so much we watch these videos someone let out
I will never get over his passing. 💔

Then how will you get over a family member passing.
@@martinmccluskey2391 Easy. I really don’t have any family.

He was nicknamed “bucky” during his formative schooling years in India and was very insecure about it.
I guess it just stuck.
Your contribution to society is immense, miss you dearly although I never had the pleasure attending a concert cause I wasn’t born yet but I admire your talent, courage and character dear ❤

Yes. When David Bowie died, all those Christian UA-cam channels were judging him with unfounded rumors and theories. How do they know what David believed and thought in his private life? Especially near the end of his life.
I hope he repented. I think he did cause he knew his timing perfectly. I'm sure God had been talking to him. I hope he listened. Whether we like it or not the Bible is true and we pay a price for disobedience. We all mliss him I hope we will see him again

Yes, he would be mortified! I am sure the videos were taken for friends, not the internet. Love Freddie, but not the invasion of a dead’s man’s Private videos.

He's so caring around his godson. Knowing that was his last Xmas is heartbreaking: truly bittersweet videos to see.
Great to see the next generation of kids loving Queen and especially Freddie!
The show must go on
Seeing Jim and Freddie playing with foam together is just adorable and makes my stomach go🦋🦋🦋💔❤
great man, great heart, great sadness,🥺😭 great talent, he had his whole life ahead of him, how many beautiful songs he could write and sing...
Thank you for making this! Freddie was such a cutie!
When Mary’s son goes to hug him❤️
Every time i ear Freddie Mercury's powerfull voice, i get chills from my head down to my toes! ❤
Freddie had a lovely child-like quality; you see it in a lot of his interviews. Clearly a man with a rebellious, carefree nature. Such a sweet soul.
It's weird to think we love Freddie and know him well but there are people, like Roger and Brian that have beautiful memories of him and them being together it just makes me sad that I can't have those memories too but I am very grateful to be able to see these videos. I love you Freddie
You've missed john deacon.
Caroline Lyall unless you met and was best friends with him you wouldn't have known him well. You only know the public persona. These videos only show the show offy side Infront of the camera. So who knows what he was actually like without anything to perform for

Freddie was still so full of life, singing with his lovely voice. Amazing. Happy for him. Love you Freddie forever and ever
Oh, how I miss him. He is the BEST singer who ever lived, or who will ever live. Long live Freddie ❤

So thanks for posting these priceless personal videos of Freddie. I’m also wonder who took these and it must’ve had to be a good close friend for this to be allowed by Freddie. Great to see him happy and joking around like a young person.

The Great Pretender lives on, in our hearts. If only God could swap him, with Justin Bieber, The Kardashians, and Kanye West.
Sometimes I get to feelin'
I was back in the old days, long ago
When we were kids, when we were young
Things seemed so perfect, you know?
The days were endless, we were crazy, we were young
The sun was always shinin', we just lived for fun
Sometimes it seems like lately, I just don't know
The rest of my life's been, just a show
Those are the days of our lives
The bad things in life were so few
Those days are all gone now but one thing is true
When I look and I find I still love you
You can't turn back the clock, you can't turn back the tide
Ain't that a shame?
Ooh, I'd like to go back one time on a roller coaster ride
When life was just a game
No use in sitting and thinkin' on what you did
When you can lay back and enjoy it through your kids
Sometimes it seems like lately, I just don't know
Better sit back and go, with the flow
These are the days of our lives
They've flown in the swiftness of time
These days are all gone now but some things remain
When I look and I find, no change
Those were the days of our lives, yeah
The bad things in life were so few
Those days are all gone now but one thing's still true
When I look and I find, I still love you
I still love you.......

Brian's clogs I really don’t wish to jump to far ,but according to a particular society with secrets and the black and white of Zoroastrianism...Freddie’s body is dead ,but not Freddie. It’s hard for all of us ,but sometimes a good cry is healthy for us because it helps get the poison out from the loss. We are all terrified at our mortal end. Countless have gone before us.”The” Lords are aware of each passing spirit-soul” and this brings me comfort. This is not faith...this is certainty by way of sacred practices. I think the only part that I abhor is the pain involved in passing. That part really sucks. Blessings Brian.🌟✨🌟
