It is a fine peak indeed, a beautiful mountain to look at and just as good to walk on. Looked like a great day for the climb and I am sure it was a lot quieter on the northern side of the mountain😊 A lovely loop and some beautiful ariel views of Errigal👍
It’s a lot easier to climb Errigal now with the new path across the bog, complete with bridges.. then a solid stone path up the south route. Respect for going down the north side though 👍🏻

Love this mountain I done it last week. Love the new pathway built from the car park right up, no more boggy ground and wet mucky boots 🙂
id heard they were doing some work on the paths. Must get up there again soon.

I arrived at the top once to find a choir of nuns singing songs.....was like the movie sister act..on a mountain top '')
Those were some tough nuns, were they wearing all the nun gear with walking boots ?
