Another great playthrough. I was on the fence of getting this since I mostly play solo but after seeing the additions I immediately ordered it. Tell FFG they made at least one sale because of your playthrough.

WOW! Played the game with expansion set today and it is great! Lots of new stuff that blend great with original set. I highly recommend this game and the expansion. Compliments to Fantasy Flight!
My goodness it does love its table presence don’t it? Extra credit for getting the corner of the box into the shot. Yes multiplayer. So many moving parts. Needs friends. Mine eyes glazed over about 15 minutes in. Imagine what the Falcon smells like with two Wookies on board.
This game is so much fun. The first time I played, I was using Dr. Aphra and somehow wound up with her ship and two of her companions from her stories in the Star Wars comics. It was really strange how it all just sorta worked out thematically. :) I'm really pumped about this expansion. It's really cool they sent you a copy for your playthrough. Sounds like you've arrived in the Big Leagues!
@Jay Plays Yes, this game can really turn in to a real fun story. Playing Chewbacca, finding Han and then pushing my luck and finding the Falcon! Good times! And cool to get some games sent to me, because my finances needs a break from my gaming "problem". :)
I got my copy on the weekend and we played through the expansion. It really does add to the game in thematic ways more than anything and the travel through the core was fun for those that used it.
You and the AI can discard 2 cards now from a single deck. Helps get through the bigger decks. Also there is an updated player turn card to remind you of that.
@cubsnextyear17 Haha!! I have too many games, so to help my "budget" I generally only sleeve games that have lots of shuffling. Hope you enjoy your game! :)
Expansion AI rules actually do prevent Maz from getting stuck like that. To be fair, it might be easy to miss if one does not know the reason for this rule - but now we do ;) Expansion rulebook, p. 8: "Cargo with a patrol destination: The AI player does not buy cargo with a patrol as its destination."

@David Ko Thanks for watching! Definitely an easy fix. I could have fixed it by moving to the nearest planet, but still a plausible strategy to sit and gain credits every turn and buy fame. Either way, I enjoyed the story for Chewbacca ... being a hero. :)
I'm 90% sure the solo rules say that the AI prefers to land on a planet, even if it means moving shorter than max movement. I think this also means Maz would move to the planet right next to her when she had no destination. At least I'm pretty sure that would be rules as intended 😉
Thanks for watching! Correct, if she had a goal that she couldn't reach, she would try to end on a world ... but with no goals to move towards, will sit and collect credits. Not an ideal situation for AI for sure. :)
Fun video Dale. Any chance you are gonna do a bounty hunter AI video or against both AI opponents? None out there yet and it would make for a great video. As always you do a great job of sharing games and making them feel easy.

What kind camera do you use and how is it setup? Just curious, as the ability to read the text so clearly on cards really is the best around. Love the content.

Nice! It's too bad that Maz got stuck in that loop. It seems easy to fix, but I'm surprised it didn't get caught in playtesting.

You can discard twice now from the same deck during market step.
Is that how the rep sliders work? When we have been gaining or losing we move to the tick marks.
@Matt Cullens Each slider only has 3 options, Positive, Negative or Neutral. Hope that helps, and happy travels through the outer rim! :)

Came on to watch a solo using the new Bounty hunter A.I or better still against both A.I :( Missed opportunity.
Lots of new cards, 8 new playable characters and ambitions … can’t play them all at once. :)
