As the embodiment of the Hero, every guy worth it's salt identifies with Anakin. That's why that scene is so damn powerfull, it creates a deep contradiction between the character and the spectator, without breaking immersion. It forces the audience to confront the situation without any chance of shrug it off as "pfff, thats totally unrealistic", as it happens so often these days in movies.

Chris George I'd love to have an arc170
@Chris George I want an executor
My old one broke, hehehe
I actually am a prequel fan and I always say "Oh no!!!".
But then I come here on yt and laugh like hell
Kill the memers
10:02 “is that a youngling?” *kills a couple clones* “Yeahh!” *dies* “Awwww”
I literally laughed out loud at that haha the timing was just so perfect.
Plo Koons death is the saddest. Especially after seeing how close he was to the Wolfpack during the Clone Wars.
Must have been so confusing for him, getting shot down by the men he fought side by side with for so long.
This scene his me so hard in theaters. Knowing how much the clones respected the Jedi then against their will had to kill them. Not only that but the score. Ugh
That guy that said it was all Padme's fault hahahahah
It was a joke, he said it after.
@@user-xx6vy9ri8p Obviously
He's kinda right tho.

"Master Skywalker, there are too many of them. What are we going to do" "Aaarrrree Ya Ready Kids!"
Fuck you for making me laugh my lungs out for at least five minutes straight.... damnit....here's a thumb up, I'm getting the hell out of this comment section.
Omg😂
@@EvilFookaire It ain't much, but it's honest work
Man, f--k you, I shouldn't be howling in laughter!
🤣
Kids: Master skywalker what are we gonna do?
Anakin: your going to die
My generation, we knew this was coming after all.
Heartwarming to see all these youngsters reacting the way they did here.
2:29
" *The kids, the kids whats going to happen to the kids* "
me: smiles nervously
The meanest thing someone can say to Anakin; "Man, I hope Padme leaves him"
_laughs in clovis_
“It’s low-key padme’s fault”
I mean, he ain’t wrong
LIAR!
@@sajinbhuiyan5433 Sorry Ani, he has a point.
@@NGP.NOAH. This is outragoues, its unfair

@@sajinbhuiyan5433 *Outrageous. English is not your first language, is it, young padawan? 🤣🤣🤣
The music really makes these scenes crush
0:25: The way you said that reminds me of the Droopy Dog cartoons where he’d go wild after getting a kiss and then in his regular droll voice, he’d say “I’m happy”. 😂
Watching Clone Wars puts all these scenes into a whole different light... Even Anakin killing kids has a twisted and sick logic
The Clone Wars actually made Anakin an appealing character, also when you consider the jedi order needed to go (for the balance and such), it does make it understandable (though of course still horrific)
Right clone Wars makes you feel it more.
@@AeneasGemini Consider what Palpatine told him in 3. If any Jedi live, there will be civil war without end. TCW showed the war was unimaginably destructive to the galaxy and to Anakin's psyche. Anakin probably thought, let these kids live, and they will grow up to fight the Empire. The chaos, bloodshed, and violence of war will never end.
“Sir, we’re just clones, we’re meant to be expendable”
“Not to me”
@@AeneasGemini there is no balance in the force just a bunch of arseholes convinced they are right and feeling the need to instill this on the rest of the galaxy.
The Jedi - “wait, the Sith are in control?..”
Clone Troopers - “always have been”
Order 66 in a nutshell
When I first saw this movie in the theatre (when it came out) I was forever changed. The dead silence after the youngling asked Anakin “What are we going to do?”
And the bass in the theatre when he ignites his saber was a shock to the mind AND body, to say. Oh my god he’s going to kill these kids! One of my favourite movie experiences ever. Just because of the actual shock it sent through my spine lol
It still breaks my heart, when I see those scenes. I can't watch that movie, without getting tears in my eyes. It hearts so bad that comrades, brothers in arms turned against the Jedi, because of the Order 66 and killed nearly 99.99 % of them.
This came up on my recommended ❤️❤️
Hey Mary!! I hope that it was ok that I used your reaction, it’s just that is was so good I couldn’t leave it out!!!
