Another funny episode of the WeMinJae show! It's obvious how much the two of you love each other. Neither of you ever need to feel even the least insecure. It's obvious! You guys don't fake it for the camera. I know you have disagreements and arguments just like any other couple, but I think the two of you not only love each other, but that you both genuinely like each other. Your relationship is the most real one I've seen on UA-cam. Your love is inspirational. It truly is. What factors do you think make Korea safer than America? Is it that they don't have guns? Better policing? Citizens less likely to commit crimes? Because South Korea is a homogenous society? I'd be really interested on hearing your take on that. I also see a lot of K-dramas (and have read about it in real life) where bullying seems to be an issue in Korean schools. Is that truly the case? What do you think is better in America than in South Korea and vice versa? What adjustments has Jae had to make living in Korea? What adjustments will Min most likely have to make when you guys move to America? Thank you for all your great vids. You guys seem like real friends that I look forward to hanging out with even if it's only for a few moments when you post a new vid.
Thank you Mary!! So many great questions! Maybe we will make a longer video about them in the future, but to answer a few: I think in general Korea is safer because the citizens are less likely to commit crimes. The laws and police officers of Korea aren’t that great actually 😂 so if a crime is committed You will have a hard time getting proper justice. Bullying is a very strong and prevalent thing here in the schools yes. As for the pros and cons of each country, they can be a video on its own 😅
It was extremely hilarious that I couldn’t stop laughing 😆😆😆😆😆 In terms of living in the USA, one of the guys I met at the Airbnb in Michigan told me that if you don’t have a gun, at least equip yourself with the Louisville Slugger and the Titlelist Golf Driver to protect against thieves or robbers. It seems like quite a lot of Americans believe that either guns or other types of protective equipment at home are necessary for the safety of themselves and their families.
Jae is correct, the news does not show everything. While Korea is much safer, the States has a lot of safe places to live, I lived in just a few of them. While the level of safe will vary in the States I’ve lived in places where people go out shopping, hang out with friends all day away from their home and NOT lock the doors until they go to bed late at night. I saw people do that every day. As Jae said, there are areas that are not dangerous in the States, but it doesn’t make the news, only bad news sells.

South Korea is safe in a lot of aspects, but also Korea is not 100 percent safe... especially for woman who are not from korea...they have little to no laws in place to protect from harassment and assault. I've been seeing more women coming out and talking about their experience. I think because everyone says "oh korea is safe " people go to korea and let their guard down and get an awakening.
Also saying America is dangerous is a little too harsh... I mean..its like a yes but also no. its like you have to keep you eyes open but you dont have to watch over your shoulder the whole time.. (I mean some cities in the U.S are dangerous but some aren't ..... it just all depends which city... BUT all countries have good and bad people in them.
Yea I totally agree~ I am fully aware of the situations with woman here in Korea, I am lucky to have no such issues, maybe because I’m from America and always keep my eyes out and am pretty good at see sus things, 🤷♀️
But in comparative to Korea, USA is not safe. But I know not all america is unsafe~ which is why I said what I said ^^! The news only reports the bad. Also we do plan to move to America haha so we obviously don’t think it’s that bad, but when comparing to Korea, it is 😔.
