Yes! I think I found the best way to learn stuff (works for me, you should probably try what works for you). Say you buy a book and have to learn all the topics in the book it is best to watch 2-5min videos on each topic before going any deeper into it. When you have a brief foundation of what the topic revolves around, it gets much easier to focus on longer lectures. I wish I knew this in my college days.
Wow the cute visuals and soft voice really helped me cal down, concentrate, and study better. I have my Economy final tomorrow, and thanks to this I'm really making progress studying. Thanks a lot!
Thank you so much! I am an MBA student with a background in Sociology, many of these concepts are new information and you are making this learning process much easier. Many thanks from a Military Spouse!
Wonderful graphics, calm tone, your videos made Economics very easy and enjoyable!! Thank you very much on behalf of 4,000+ Economics student from all over the world.
2022 and this just majorly helped me in my economics class. This is the best breakdown I've gotten, and I love the pictures too, they really help. Thank you!
college teachers be like: how come a single topic can be explained in 5 minutes? hold my beer ill show you how it could be actually poorly taught in 3 weeks
This video is really helpful! I love it, thank you so much. For your questions at the end, here is what I think: - For the perfect competition, I believe this is the type of market structure America is having currently. - For Monopoly competition, maybe communist country like North Korea? Where only the government produces and provides foods and products for citizens. - For Oligobily, Vietnam and China would fit in this category of this market structure. There are producers and businesses run by the citizens. However, the most important products, such as cars, or estates, very few can get successful and they tend to be connected. Thank you so much again for your lesson! You explained so well that I understand things almost immediately.
I just finished listening to a lecture on this and had no idea what he was talking about. You said in 6 minutes what he said in 15 and I actually understood yours. THANK YOU! (I have to write a paper on this!)
Just came across your videos while frantically trying understand the similarities and differences between each market structure. Needless to say, your videos are amazing! Contains good amount of information & gets to the point. Thank you so much!
very nice explanation easily understandable no need of difficult in understanding concepts thank you so much i was understood the whole market structure in 15 minutes time because of you i was expressing my gratitude for you thanking you a lot
Thanks so much for explaining this in simple terms using visual aids...I understood more about market structures in this 5 min video than I did in my monotonous 50 min economics lecture. Seriously, thanks a lot!!
this is great- I take economics for IGCSE in High school- I understand most of it but i had trouble with Competition. Thank you very much, your work is very well appreciated.
I loved the illustration of the disgruntled man when the price of rubber gripped toothbrushes increased. He walked off with the one that played music, brilliant! Haha :)
really detailed explanation, thanyou. I would say the Agricultural market best represents perfect competition and the market for personnel computers (Microsoft and Apple) best represents an Oligopoly market structure.
wow I never had any full topic understanding about market structures in just 5 minutes. I'd recommend this instead of my professor discussing this topic poorly.
Perfect Competition : Clothing Monopolistic Competition : Detergent Oligopoly: Mobile Phones, Laptops Monopoly : Pharmacetutical Companies with Patented products to cure a specific diseases.
What about different kinds of clothing like polyester, cotton, silk, leather, etc? That would fit more under monopolistic competition. While nothing is perfectly competitive, I'd say agricultural products like wheat or corn are the closest because they are practically the same and differentiate little from each other.
@flinagin ye the same problem here mate, they talk with the same intonation, and it gets me sleeping. Where do you study , USA or UK ? Im in UK , Bournemouth University.
There is no perfect competition in the reality. It only exists in the theory. Monopolistic competition: boutiques Oligopoly: banking Monopoly: water supply
hi can somebody please send me this videos they will really help me in my studies.my internet connection is always poor and i want to download them on my laptop but i could not.can someone kindly help me out here please as to how to download them please...
Amazing how I understood more in a 5 minute video than a 2 hour lecture! Thank you
Angie yes yes yes‼️‼️‼️ we had two hour lectures the whole week and I was lost

I love these 'breakdown' videos. I read my chapters, go to class, review my notes..but nothing makes it all sync until I watch these & follow along :)
Maybe this just goes to show the flaws in the school system

college teachers be like: how come a single topic can be explained in 5 minutes? hold my beer ill show you how it could be actually poorly taught in 3 weeks
Because topics like this are far more complicated than what an overview like this shows
Because it's just a superficial information.
These are amazingly useful for A-Level Economics :) I've watched literally everyone.
thank you very much. I have been watching your lectures for sometimes. your examples and explanation is helping me a lot.

What about different kinds of clothing like polyester, cotton, silk, leather, etc? That would fit more under monopolistic competition. While nothing is perfectly competitive, I'd say agricultural products like wheat or corn are the closest because they are practically the same and differentiate little from each other.

There is no perfect competition in the reality. It only exists in the theory.
Monopolistic competition: boutiques
Oligopoly: banking
Monopoly: water supply
actually, agricultural products such as wheat and corn may still be in perfect competition if they are identical types.
The stock market could be considered a perfect competition because there are a plethora of buyers and selling the same product.
@@Xyot826 though the stock market is very convoluted
