    I'm so glad I found your videos! Quick question: I thought lateral epicondyle is the thumb side. In anatomical position it's the thumb side that that puts the respective condyle toward the outside of the body. My anatomy app is also putting the lateral epicondyle on the thumb side. In your video you state it's the pinky side. Curious if I'm missing something? Thanks for any insight!

    • @JodiScholes
      @JodiScholes  2 роки тому +2

      You are spot on! Lateral is thumb side. Bc anatomical position is thumbs out palms forward. My bad!

    I believe you have the lateral and medial epicondyles switched when talking about tennis elbow being on the pinky side, wouldnt it would be on the thumb side? Lateral is the thumb side and medial is the pinky

    • @JodiScholes
      @JodiScholes  2 роки тому

      Yes NB. I thought I corrected myself in the video. In anatomical position thumb side is lateral. 👍🏼

      Hi Emily,
      Considering I don't know what PRI and RI are, I don't think so. But here is a terrific video about agonist, antagonist, helpers and stabilizers. ua-cam.com/video/hR7jg2ll9PY/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Well-KnownReyes

    I have a question you Said Tendonsis is thickening of the tendon, but on the screen and upon further investigation its degenerative of tendon so please help me understand what I'm missing

    • @JodiScholes
      @JodiScholes  Рік тому +1

      Hi Randy - actually it's both. Tendonosis = Degeneration of the tendon. The longer term effect of tendonosis is a thickening of the tendon, but its not a strong tendon. In fact the thickening can sometimes cause Carpal Tunnel Syndrome bc it's crowding the nerves. I really like this report. It explains it quite well. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3312643/#:~:text=Tendinosis%20is%20a%20degeneration%20of,cause%20tendinosis%2C%20when%20done%20repeatedly.
