But for what, you said you don't like role-playing and furniture etc, which is literally the main game. The crafts just support that. The gold is ultimately for 3 things: housing expansions, furniture and relationships, everything else is just spending gold to make more gold to... Sit on? Doesn't increase your bow DPS on Sernuks, doesn't allow you to sprint faster, it's just pointless and not something I'd remember in 10 years after I stopped playing. I haven't leveled the NPC's up enough yet to know if they're worth the effort. In a game like Harvest Moon, when you reach end game, you get married and depending on which character you marry you get perks. Some water your crops for you, or feed the animals, or generate items day to day as gifts. Think of it as a cookie clicker game at first. You spend money to get things that make more money, like soil upgrades and licenses. The sooner you invest in these, the more dividends you'll receive later for having them. It makes zero sense to buy anything else first for the long haul. Being able to craft purple couches doesn't enrich or speed up the farming process and should be put off for a later time when the money is rolling in. The early game starves you of gold. It becomes a progression bottleneck, forcing the player to grind and vendor stuff they'd normally want to hoard up for later. Having all your gold generation stuff covered asap means when the game introduces new things or more expensive things you can afford them right away, as is the case in most "MMO" games. A new weapon line, new armor, new bosses, new zones, all usually require the player to spend their hoarded up resources to level up new things or be more efficient at doing the "new" thing. The sooner a player maxes their levels (50?) and has a massive stockpile of gold the faster and easier they can experience a new zone that opens up, a new crafting line. While the player who focused on cosmetics and furniture will be left to farm and have those same bottlenecks of gold and lack of resources they had when they first started playing.
@@SwoleBenji different mindset as I mentioned, but thank you for the insight, I personally don't take the FOMO approach to new content but everyone is different, there is really no rush for example in my eyes. I have a friend similar who is a make bars/numbers go up mindset and once he's maxed them he is just bored and quits. Hope you don't get a similar issue and continue having fun :)
We shouldn't really give a damn about how others choose to play a game. What is bad is when the "META min-max-type" people and the "casual-cozy-chill" people tells the other how to play the game. This statement is a prime example of that. You would be right if he's "demanding" others to play the game the same way he does but he doesn't. His videos helped me a lot, specially the animation cancelling. And I play the game casually, it's just annoying to watch slow animations for literally hundred times when picking loot. In short, you do you and don't tell other people how to play their game.
Have you tried cooking with people? I host two cooking events everyday, depending on our resources we net 10-40k per hour (not counting turning cakes into worms) without turning our fingers into worms.
So you are at full run, jump, shoot bow (while in air and also grab the bag with F), (immediately after draw and swing the Axe).You then hit ground and keep running. Sounds a bit complicated to save about 8 seconds of animation. I'd probably automate that with the Voice Attack program. Tnxs for the time and effort for the vid. I do not seem to get as much as you even though at time I shoot even more deer than you have. I wonder if there is a loot drop calculation component effect like level and or arrow/bow used?
You are literally taking away from the point of the game which is to work with others and share. Especially you doing the trees by yourself. The game is about community and cozy not its all mine you cant have it. Palia way is SHARE the resources. Hunt with others. And yes you can hunt with others. I have got 1 shot deer with 5 other people and we all get the loot same amount you get if you were to do it alone You are missing the VISION and why people enjoy it.

Strangers are friends in the game. If shooting and someone is in the area maybe shoot at it but miss so you BOTH get the resources. They worked REALLY hard to make this a COZY place where you work together and get farther. People will WAIT for you to come mine if asked. This is meant to be a marathon not a sprint. You want fast and alone then fine play games that were designed that way. But if they made a game to work together dont bring the old school mentality and advertise to play the game totally away from what the developers created the game to be.
how you enjoy a game is subjective maybe you are are the type who enjoy playing with friends but there people who also enjoy playing alone why is that a problem

@@n4gauge @Louzzy you can still play alone playing the game the way it was created to play. Run around and if you see a magic tree you call out on the server and wait to see if anyone needs it. Then if no one answers go for it. The game is meant to be cozy and sharing. That is why the game is doing well. It is a DIFFERENT mentality then the usual MMO’s. Plenty of people play alone and dont have a community but still do call outs. The devs didnt go thru all the trouble of programming the game to share for nothing. It is called a COZY MMO for a reason.

I heard a saying once "Gamers will optimize the fun out of everything", I feel everything explained in this video, is the epitome of that.
I find it more fun to have more bag space and storage, house plot unlocks, and exquisite tools.

Drops were buffed since the filming of this video. You should get less meat but way more hide.
