To everyone asking, what can you get for free in the world. Always remember, if something is free, YOU are the product being sold. There is no such thing as a free thing.
Free things for tourists in some countries: Oxygen, Tap Water (obviously ones that have good water quality), sunlight, could go pick some wild berries for free or pick off wild fruit trees if you know what's safe and what isn't. Could do other things for free too.
Dollarama: 4 bottles of water for $1, there's some food for $1 as well still, could get 4 packs of insant noodles for $1 for example. Definitely wasn't accurate on that stuff.
Richard Rahmilov Have you looked at Dollarama and it's cheap bottles? Even if your Dollarama doesn't sell for as cheap, they could go to another province and get it, definitely isn't country wide. What about Superstores dollar days sales?
In Venezuela, 1 liter of gas is not $0.01 is actual $0.0000005. A truck with 20 thousand liters of gas costs Bs. 20,000 or $0.01 (Bs. 20,000 divided by 2,000,000 (Exchange rate) is equal to $0.01). So, the next time you see a gas truck on the road you know that you can buy it all for just $0.01 in Venezuela
Lol right? The thing is that you cannot actually buy the truck for that price unless you have a contact in the government. The farther you're to the country borders the easier is to buy lots of gas. For example in Caracas, the capital, usually all the gas stations has at least the 91 octane gasoline and as long you buy it to fill your car tank directly (and not fill a bucket or those red fuel tanks they sell on gas stations in the US) you won't have any problems buying gas. The issue may arrise is when you try to buy over 50-80 liters in a single location in a single day.
In Egypt you can rent a house for less than a dollar! Edit: Lol thanks for all the likes I was jk😂😂 But there are actually houses or apartments that can cost $5-$10
yes, everything is cheap in Venezuela, if you are not venezuelan.. the average wage is around 2 usd a month, so good luck getting all that food when everyone is poor and everything is scarce
Woah woah woah Singapore's public transport is cheap! For students you can get a bus ride under 5 stops for free (which is helpful to use as a last leg of a journey) and the maximum fee you can pay for ANY bus service or ANY train ride in the country(assuming you are using a public transport card which basically everyone has) is $2USD and $1.50 USD respectively. And the $2USD fee is for express bus services
In the Philippines, for a dollar you can get: •an entire meal, water included •About 50 pieces of candy, and more if you buy them in a pack •3 hours in an Internet Café •A kilo of rice •Half a movie ticket These are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head, there are way more.
I am a junior in high school and have been trying to get better at studying and learning. I truly started working for this about a year ago and I have seen good improvements in my grades. But when I study I always end up memorizing things, but I want to be able to study to understand. I watched a video and I learned that if you truly understand something you should be able to put it in your own words, and I really struggle with this. I just switch around a couple words and still end up just trying to memorize it. Is it even necessary to put what you are learning in your own words? If so I just don’t know how to do that. So, I really want to know how to study to understand what I am learning to the point where I can put it into my own words, and if you have the time to help me I would really appreciate it. Thank you
Cape Town cheap!?well in South Africa few things are cheap like that nowadays! Especially Cape Town and I live in New Zealand now and you can get bread for a dollar, oh well.
Cheap or expensive is mostly meant on a nominal basis. NYC is expensive, south africa is cheap. However, the income/price ratio is mostly not considered, tho this actually tells if the place is expensive for locals earning their money there.
I'm in SA right now (gouteng) Bruh it's FREAKING expensive here. Just out house's power cost 10 thousand rand! It's like $645 .... We just got solar panels though so thankfully we don't get those units anymore

In edmonton depending on what walmart you go to you can get a box of kraft dinner for 67 cents, you could also go to the dollar store and basically get anything in there too if you like almost expired candy and cans of soup

$1 in Indonesia (SE asia) is not much today. this country has been going through a lot of inflation lately. but in 2010, $1 was enough to get you a Soto Ayam (like white noodle/ramen with chicken) and a cup of tea. now it's about arouns $2 but it is still enough reason for hundreds of thousands of tourists to become expat here and work online. get thousands of dollars and only spend less than $300 to live a month. and yes, a non-aircon room with unlimited wifi and standart furniture (like bed, bed-side table, office table, fan, wardrobe/closet, and bathroom) is already included. in some places, you don't even have to pay for electricity and water, it's already in the bill too.
in my country you will get: - 2 food portion for 1 dollar - 13 pieces street food for 1 dollar - 2 litre gas for 90 cent - 12 eggs for 1,1 dollar - 1 pack 12 cigar for 1 dollar - 1,5 litre of water for 1 dollar - 500ml beer for 1,2 dollar - 1 day hotal for 10 dollar But if you has bright iris, white skin, and speak broken local accent, get some local friend to get that price.
I still can eat rice with vegetables and chicken (or fish, or small cut of beef meat) for $0.7 in my country, without getting sick. It's even delicious 😚
Moscow, Russia: For $1 you can get: 10 eggs pack (2nd grade = smallish), 2 bread loaves, up to 2 liter(67 oz!) bottle of mineral water or local soda or kvass in local groceries, 1/2 liter (small) coca-cola, 1-2 bags of local chips, about a kilogram (2 pounds) of bananas or apples or rice or even more potatoes. McDonalds ran a long promotion where a small cola, small fries, a burger and a pie cost a little less than $1 each, not sure if it's still going. Don't eat at restaurants or cafes - they are either expensive, very expensive, or bad AND expensive. As is food in parks and some street stalls. Though for many folks from 1st world countries the prices are probably reasonable. Cafeterias are fine (and almost always nice enough) though. A standard lunch (2 to 3 dishes + drink) costs about $3 to $5, coffee is extra. Fish might rarely be bad but never had problems with beef, pork, chicken, milk, veggies, etc. Alcohol is relatively expensive, not sure how much it is now. One ride on subway/bus/trolley/tram/train anywhere within the (huge) city costs $0.6. A 90-minute ticket costs $1 where you can ride anything within 1.5 hours (plus you can finish last ride for whatever time it takes) but only one ride on the subway is included. You'll need to purchase a plastic card to get those prices but you can return it and get it's price and all unused money back. City-wide bike rent costs $3 per day (unless you purchase season pass for just $25), as long as you can finish your ride within 30 minutes. Otherwise, under-1-hour ride costs extra $0.5, under-2-hour ride is $1.5, after that it gets expensive. Movie tickets are also kind of expensive - about $10 or so, everyone just watches movies at home, pir4cy is still at large. Home internet is very cheap, though this may change drastically with new censorship laws. Prices range from ~$5 per month at 30Mb/s to ~$7 per month at 100Mb/s, so about $0.2 per day. Mobile phone costs from about $0.2 per day - that includes up to 5 GB data/month (i.e. 170MB/day). $1 per day gets you ~40 GB/month (1.3GB every day) and ~20 hours of local calls/month. Rent prices are kind of high, but probably within what you can expect in a large city.
in Rawalpindi Pakistan Dozen Eggs prize 1$ (108-120 Rupes) u can get Full white Bread in 60-70 Cents...2 litter Gurma (Bottle like coke and Pepsi) in 80-85 cents, and u can travel through Metero Bus in Just 20-40 cents...😎

$1.02 for 1.5 liters of milk in India.. $0.43 for a 400grm loaf of bread in India.. $1.20 a liter of fuel in India.. $0.84 cost of 2 small plain veg burger as an offer in India.. $40 for monthly maintenance of your home in India.. $140-300 is the average monthly wage in India..
Hi, correction about New Zealand, bread from some smaller bakeries and budget brands it is priced at $1NZD, however most big name brands are $3-4NZD. Exchange rate will do you favours at about 70c US per 1NZD. But yes, living it expensive here.
I live in Canada. Calgary Alberta specifically and if you go to the dollar store called dollarama you can get canned soups, chips, candy and even sodas and water for a dollar.
Heyy Singapore’s public transport does cost under a dollar. It depends on the length of your ride and what time your ride is. If you take public transport before 8am it's free
Actually, public transport here in Singapore is very cheap. I commute to work and back using the subway and it costs me a dollar. Everything else is expensive tho...
In Singapore you can get a bottle of Coke for under $1 and you can also get a can of beer for $1. If you are lucky enough to have a concession pass, you can travel around Singapore for under $1. So the Infographics Show really need to buck up their data! P.S: trust me,as a Singaporean Citizen I know!
I live in British Columbia, Canada and you can so totally get tons of things for a dollar here. You can get a bag of chips and a 2L bottle of pop for $1 each at Walmart. We have dollar stores where most things are $1-3. Yeah Canada's expensive, but you can find cheap stuff if you look in the right places
For a $ you can buy in my country: A bread 800 cm^3 of milk 0,3 beer Half of a cubic meter water 30 min tram ticket 11 A3 size paper sheets 0,4 gallon of petrol 42 empty ice cream cones OR one full Between 4 and 5 kWH or in whatever is electricity sold 150-400 MB of cellular data(depends on operators)

In Bangalore , u can get a breakfast for 0.08 $ , lunch for 0.16$ at Indira canteen . If you are looking for free , there are many temples which offer free full meals to anybody..! Beat this..
i live in uganda, if we have 4000 shillings = 1 dollar you can get: - 4 bottles of coke (300ml) - 8 chapati (bit like pancakes, not exactly) - 10 packets of biscuits (6 in each pack, i think) - a lot of eggs (not sure how much) - 640 mbs of internet (at least on my provider and unlimited internet is extremely costly here)
In the Philippines 1Liter of water will cost you about 40cents. The brand of the water is already well established. Some of them even cause 30cents. In terms of USD.
I'm from Croatia and everything is cheap, but only for people from Croatia, In a standard caffe bar in Dubrovnik, price for a 0.5 l coca cola is less than a dollar for Croats, but it can be up to 3.5$ if you are a tourist.
In Algeria 🇩🇿 you can get 30 eggs for 2$ or 15 for a dollar 1$, and 4 cups of coffee and 4 liters of milk and 10 big pieces of bread (baguettes) for just 1$ 🇩🇿
I live in Lahore, Pakistan. Here you can get 2 loaves of bread for a $. 1.5 Coca-Cola. You can do breakfast for only 60 cents. Public transport is moderate you can travel 10 km for just under 2$. Renting a room in the city center will cost around 70$ per month and crime rate in Lahore is not high. It is one of the safest cities in the country. You can get 12 bananas for a buck 1 liter of water, 1kg apples, peach can be bought just under a dollar. One of the best private schools can cost around 200$ per month.
You can DEFINITELY get bread one dollar. We aren't expensive over here, you can get quite a few things for 1 dollar here. Bread, public transport, water; most of the things I'm guessing other countries would have for that price
I live in Canada. I was once at a grocery store and a big 24 pack of coke cans were cheaper than a 750 ml bottle. The bottle was like 3 bucks and the cans were only 2!
Don't for the 100 Yen stores in Japan and Hostels for 10 dollars a day in Japan. Japan has a reputation for being expensive, but really isn't unless you are driving on the toll roads or staying at luxury resorts. 100 yen approx $1. Also you can buy beer for 25 cents in Bali Indonesia!
Just looking at the prices in Brazil it doesn't look that bad, but if you take in consideration that the minimum wage here is the equivalent of 300 US dollars a month, you can see that life is tough here.
To everyone asking, what can you get for free in the world. Always remember, if something is free, YOU are the product being sold. There is no such thing as a free thing.
The Infographics Show You messes up Canada. Just hit a dollar store can get allot.

10 eggs pack (2nd grade = smallish), 2 bread loaves, up to 2 liter(67 oz!) bottle of mineral water or local soda or kvass in local groceries, 1/2 liter (small) coca-cola, 1-2 bags of local chips, about a kilogram (2 pounds) of bananas or apples or rice or even more potatoes.
McDonalds ran a long promotion where a small cola, small fries, a burger and a pie cost a little less than $1 each, not sure if it's still going.
Don't eat at restaurants or cafes - they are either expensive, very
expensive, or bad AND expensive.
Disappointment
