There's only a bazillion videos on UA-cam showing exactly how to make framed cabinets with inset and overlay droor fronts. If you have a tool to cut a straight line, you can make cabinets and droors. If you can make a box that's actually square, you're well over halfway there.

Better way, plan before , know measurements , mark lines using square because it is more important that runners / drawer slides are perpendicular to the front and less important is is parallel to bottom.
Not a fan of side mount slides. You already have rails on the cabinet lol you could easily just buy better bottom mount slides and you wouldn't have to do anything but control the depth of the slide. Although for using this specific type of hardware I like what you did, good job considering
I forgot to mention, the method I presented also hides the slides underneath the drawer rather than showing it on the side, like the sidemounts do. Anyway good video for teaching people sidemount installation!
It truly depends on how you where you want your drawer to stop when its fully closed as well as the thickness of the wood you are using for your drawer face. you can adjust as needed based on the design of your enclosure, face frame or no face frame?

There are clip on drawer guides for situations without back ledges.

Use a spacer for both the case and the drawer box that are offset by a 1/4” . It’s quicker and more accurate

Why do you setback the drawer members by 3/16th of an inch?

True but decent bottom mount slides are a lot more expensive. Blumm's can cost you $75 or more per drawer.
How do you do the next one down without the stretcher?
Krieg makes a tool for that ..or..
You can start at the bottom and work your way up using the previous drawer as a stretcher.

That's just what all the drawer slides that we've installed say 🤷♀
You can manipulate it though. When we still used side mounts, we move them forward on overlay to avoid using bumpers, and backwards if using inset.
