Can you do a video of a break down and pull apart for cleaning checking or replacing burrs etc
We do not carry this grinder any longer, so most likely not.
Nice job explaining! Thanks!
Does the conical burrs on the Compak E10 need to be calibrated each time maintenance cleaning is conducted? Thank Clive Coffee and Charles.
Great question. To fully clean the burr chamber you'll need to remove the upper burr. Since, as on many grinders, the upper burrs is moved to adjust grind size you will need to re-dial in after removing the upper burr. With this in mind, we recommend spacing out your deep cleanings and using Urnex Grindz (linked below) in between to keep things simple. They work wonders.

Any thoughts on the PK100?
Is E10 sweetable to be used for single dose grinder? And what about the retention, is It notable?
Hi, wich grinder is better between this e10 vs mahlkonig e65s for commericial use
What is the pros and cons about conical va flat burrs?
A great question, and one with a fair degree of ongoing debate in the home barista community. This video we made on choosing a grinder gives a brief overview on the subject: ua-cam.com/video/bJWwDBBwH0U/v-deo.html
That said, if you can we highly recommend going to shops which use both types of burrs to really taste the difference.

Hi, im using the compak master e10,i forgot the password, how can i reset it or remove it, i
You said "only about" 4 grams of retention. Isn't that huge?
For a commercial grinder with burrs this size, that's about as good as you can get. If you're looking for a low retention, single dosing grinder for home, check out the Eureka Mignon line!
The E10 is designed for for high volume cafes, it is not suitable for home use. Its like buying a bus to do the school run. If they are selling the Compak E5 this will more than suffice for the home.
