I'm not a fan of Carryology nor drop culture, but I still ended up getting the pre-order specifically because a) I've been curious about trying out a bag from MW for ages and b) I have also specifically been itching for a space-style/"lunarcore" bag for years in a way the white colorway of this bag very much scratches.

I had no idea Carryology did collabs but I’ve been a fan of MW for over a decade. That’s when I first got an R6 and it’s still going strong. I assume the flap opening from the bottom would provide better weather resistance.
MW was/is higher end techwear for cyclist and I can confirm almost everything they sell from bags to apparel lives up to it. The prices are nutty but I think this wasn’t insane since the Rhake is the same price as the solo was.
I’d prefer the fidlock honestly since I’ve had cobras crack my phones screen protector and magnets how do they work. That said, I’m not smart so I got the cobra buckle too.
Hope any fans of NASA or space in general that wanted one was able to snag one. I am definitely not a fan of limited hype beast style drops though… especially considering the whole set was $1000+. I hope any scalpers out there have a tough time flipping it lol.

Hated it at first, but the idea is growing on me. I find that is typical of many drops. If I do go for it, it will be the full kit. You can't just get part of it right? Kudos to you for wearing that jacket throughout the video. Theming is key, and that could not have been comfortable.
Hey there! Great to hear from you! Yes, definitely agree, if you're going to go for this, it makes all the sense to get a complete package, as that's kind of the point of the Arkiv system. And definitely add the Cobra buckle too! It makes for quite an expensive all or nothing proposition though. Haha, about the jacket, definitely agree, theming is key, and I honestly run hot most of the time, so I have made videos where I've worn jackets at the start and ended up sweating like crazy by the end, but in this case I actually didn't notice it! It was the middle of the night here, and temps drop down to low 50s so it was actually fine, thankfully. Appreciate the comment and support, as usual! Feel free to let us know if you do go for it! @brackodejacko haven't bought it yet. Probably won't. Love the story behind it, but don't think I will use it practically speaking, and I'm actually trying to go the other direction on collecting packs like that, however cool they may be. @brackodejacko hahaha, right on! The black looks nice and will be a lot more usable in the real world. I have matching black and white dyneema DSPTCH Daypacks, and the black still looks new, less the typical dyneema patina, which I actually like. The white has picked up quite a few marks that I simply can't get off. Love that you actually know the origin of Icy Hot! Those who know, know, and everyone else scratches their head, because it doesn't make any sense! Cheers brother! $600 for solo crazy!
I mean compared to a rofmia shift pack, veilance nomin, dsptch rnd rucksack, or a goruck dyneema/goruck heritage, cote et ciel leather isar M, its a good "value". Its for bag nerds. Most folks will be fine with Aer, Evergoods, TomToc, Bellroy, or Modern Dayfarer at the $150 to $250 price point.
I own mission workshop gear so the mars pack is perfect for me. It is a replacement for the Integer, Rhake, and my R2. I plan on selling a bunch of my bags to recoup for the full set. The Mars backpack is a Radian, R6, and Rhake combo. Clamshell rolltop is the best with the Radian's adjustable harness.

Mission Workshop is in my backyard so to speak, and while I've never actually bought one of their packs (could never find a design that really worked for my use case, most were just too flat or lacked access), I've always been super impressed by their build quality. @FlawlessActivity it was tough but I decided to go with black since it seems more practical as an everyday color. Also worried about white staining. The stormtrooper white looks fire as hell so I think anyone rocking it will have something sexy.
