Hi - Congrats on the new bike! Great looking bike!! I have a 2012 HD Sportster Nightster in all stock form...I was thinking about the FP3...any difference without upgrading the air cleaner and exhaust? I'm thinking of the upgrading the air cleaner and exhaust later at some point. Many thanks!
The FP3 was my first purchase for this project and I did install it while the bike was stock. I flashed it with the Vance&Hines "stock" map for my bike and it felt like it ran better. I have read that this will provide a richer fuel mixture than factory that results in better throttle response and lower temps. I did not test the temps before and after, but it felt cooler while sitting at stop lights. The perceived difference was minimal, but it did seem to help.
Thanks! Exactly where mine was(2014 forty eight) and that's what I needed to know!
Beautiful bike man! I have a Forty Eight
I have to do some research on the Fuelpak. I have Vance & Hines, but not sure if I have a Fuelpak.
