- In this video I react to one of Queen’s earlier tracks: “Liar”. Queen is a legendary ‘70s rock band including bandmates Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon.

John's is the coolest thing ever done by the human kind
This song becomes even better in the 74 Rainbow concert
YES!💕
The first gig I ever attended!
@@christineirving4491pluviophile that's awesome!
And can we mention JOHN DEACON'S BASS SOLO?! This is Queen's glam/prog rock period. You will want to check out STONE COLD CRAZY (Metallica did a cover as they were big Queen fans. Yes, they really did challenge some of the norms of the day for rock music. On a creative junket they could go off the mainline where no one else would - just because they could!
Just love watching John's solo on bass, such an amazing feature to listen to and watch his flying fingers, cos we don't often see him in a starring role. And he sings backup with Freddie!
Trevor now u are gonna discover the first 6 Queen albums, they are all pure classics! It’s a shame people only know Bo Rhapn, we will rock and Anbtd. Have u ever listened to the March of the black Queen , white Queen or the prophets song? U will not believe what u hear! U r in for a wild ride!
Try White Queen Live 1975, awesome piano and guitar solo.
The whole rainbow concert is worth seeing. Do it!
Awesome, awesome song. The changes are so impressive and everybody is playing and singing perfectly. I LOVE the bas solo! I love this one, too. Thank you. If you want to hear perfect chaos that is an incredible song, you need to react to March Of The Black Queen, studio version on this one (the live is just a tiny bit of the song because it is too richly layered to be done live). You will love that song too, older Queen as well.
Groups such as Queen , and ELO wrote rock Pop music as a classical master composer would have 300 years ago. They wrote in movements, with a unified theme . You may have noticed that Brian May's unique and untouchable guitar style is so rare and wonderful for a few reasons. One , he built his own guitar with certain features not found in off the shelf equipment. Two, he does not play lighting fast scales or fill thru scales like most guitarists do . He writes within the melody, actually creating guitar solos that compliment the theme of the song like a classical composer would counterpoint the main melody . His solos can stand on their own as compositions within the song.
Im telling you these guys are unique on another level.
Johns Deacy amp…also helping out Brian’s unique sound..love all these guys!❤️😊❤️
They were so hungry in both aspects. Experimenting. Great bass.
Wow 🤩 beautiful sweet Freddie 😍
I've had the pleasure of interviewing Freddies PA Peter Freestone and Queens Roadie Ratty on my radio show in the UK. They both said that Freddie always tried to move with the times, both in the bands music and his appearance.
Great reaction you should try the live version from The Rainbow 1974 this is the official video x

We’re hearing musical genius here 💛💛💛💛💛💛
Versatile, definitely. And timeless - their music sounds as relevant today as it did all those years ago. Love your comments about the complexity of Queen songs, so true.
Thanks for doing this one, it's one of my favourites, love it ❤
Son and daughter. Great tune
Welcome to queen
another good job trevor
The song originates from the short period when Freddie was in his previous band called Ibex and it's titel was Lover.
Lots of great parts in that, but for me the best is John's 'solo' - and you interrupted it! Go John!! I love him :)
Sorry! Someone’s always going to be upset no matter where i pause as its required by youtube for me to pause several times during the video and comment my thoughts. John is great though!
Trevor welcome tomqueen , the greatest band of all time
Try One Year of Love and In The Lap ofThe Gods. ❤Queen. Thanks
What is this song about? Maybe his revolt against his religion Zoroastrianism. Struggle with his parents but also loving him and asking for help with his direction.
