Power Query Basic 11 - Convert Date Text into Date

- In Power Query Basic 03, I introduced basic data types in Power Query. In this video, you will see a deeper demo to a commonly used data type - Date.
Indeed it is very common to deal with date stored as text in different formats. It could be challenging to convert those text dates into real dates that Excel recognizes and work with for further analysis. This task is, unbelievably, super easy in Power Query. You will see how in this short video.

I got the last data that you don’t know how to solve😢
No worries. That’s doable with extra steps. You can try converting the 8 digit numbers into date string of MM/DD/YYYY first. Not sure how? Try the add column by examples. When you have the conversion done, then you can set the new into proper date easily.
