- I got my new GEN 5 0311P irons and I wanted to give you my review and showcase them with some shots.
In January of 2020 I decided to start a UA-cam channel. My mission with this channel and all my social media blitz is to help bring awareness to firefighter issues like PTSD and occupational cancer through the game of golf. PTSD is real in the first responder professions and I hope though all this that I make an impact with at least one person.
My name is Steve Pope and I have been a Firefighter for the Kansas City, Kansas Fire Department for 24 years and the Merriam Fire Department for 1. I am an avid golfer who wants to grow the game of golf with this channel while also bringing awareness to the issues above.
I have a passion for golf and this mission because I have some PTSD issues that have caused problems in my family life as well as everyday coping. If you are a Firefighter, First Responder, Military or just a golfer that wants to play with me please reach out.

Awesome video and sick sticks man! Thank you for your service as well. I work in the medical field and I will say that firefighters as well as emt's/paramedics are some of the most important but underappreciated people in our country. Nobody realizes it until they find themselves in a real life emergency and then you men show up to do what you do. Mad respect brother!

Great video. Thank you for your service. I play gen 4 irons and love them. I recently demod Gen 5 and saw pretty good gains in distance I also felt Gen 5 was a little more firmer which I liked. I’m definitely changing up to Gen 5. Gains of 12-18 yds is significant on a golf course w irons and these clubs performed. Expensive right now yes. Worth it absolutely

I got fit today. I tested the Gen 3 and Gen 5. I went with the Gen 5. I hit 10 yards further and had better height on the ball! They felt so good. Thank god for the first responder discount, haha.
I know, right? Even with the discount they are pricey. But I like em. Have fun with the new sticks.

I’m pleased with the gen4 stuff 0311xp 2 degrees weak for easy launch plus the wedges. I have Mizuno hybrid irons 4-7, everything else is PXG including the putter

Love the message you're trying to get out. I'm a firefighter from the UK and average golfer. Have a couple of PXG clubs in the bag, have the gen 5 driver on the way. For some reason in the UK we don't get the heroes discount like in the US else I'd have a full PXG bag

Just ordered a set of the 211’s with stiff Elevate Tours. Can’t wait to get them. Deal they are running right now was too good to pass up. Sold my Radspeed One Lengths. Hope I don’t regret it.

Did you end up using a heavier weight to get more height? I ended up with 10 gram and see a pretty good boost in trajectory for soft landings…. 👍🏻

How do the gen 5 irons compare to your past clubs. I am looking at the p's too
In my opinion they perform better than the 0211s. But if people are looking for a cheaper club the new 0211s are good sticks. But I like the Gen 5 Ps better than the the 0211s. Thanks for watching.
Looks like to me the best clubs near bagger up to the eight iron 7iron on not so good maybe get hybrids

Quick question.. what is your handicap? And why did you decide on the players irons vs XP?
I am a 2 right now. I didn't try the XP. I only compared P versus the T. The P had better numbers from my fitting.

Question: Cost of fitting, included in club price or extra fee?
Hi Reggie. The fitting cost is usually put into the price of clubs if you buy from the fitter. Some places might be half of fitting cost is in price of fitting. Depends on location. PXG was a flat $50 in Scottsdale. Hope that helps.
You're a bit swipey with your swing. I suggest maybe delaying upper body on down swing to shallow out the club and compress the ball more.

Not a good ad for Gen 5 p irons. Poor guy was all over the lot with his on course dispersion. The price point is horrible as well. Guy should have ordered the XP model.
