- This was not shot with my new HD camera, I am busy with school and will be uploading from my stash I built up over summer, check the saabkyle04 facebook page more more details on what I have! Thanks! In this video I give a full in depth tour of a 2006 Lincoln Navigator. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this suv while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this suv designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

Saabkyle’s videos always gives me nostalgic vibes.
Especially his old ones
Yea fr not a big fan of his new reviews
@@Depressedwarriorsfan6238yea, I prefer the simple camera walk-around compared to how he films his newer videos. His older videos make it feel like he's showing us around the car in person, while his newer videos just feel like a motorweek review
@@mergat2970 fax man i miss his old style of review
This Navigator reminds me of the Navigator from the movie "Are We There Yet?"
Omar Zowila same!
The car ice cube drove in the movie was a 2005 model
Eas Fan California on IMCDB (Internet Movie Car Database), it says it is a 2004
And Johnson’s family vacation
Im a bit late to comment lol that navigator in the movies were a 03 or 04 those two years came with the round foglamps
" are we there yet? " lol
YES
That is from the movie, but it came with those costum rim spinners
I loved that movie and the custom navigator that they had
Same
So that's why it's called "Navigator"
my favorite generation Navigator!!! Thumbs up if you agree with me.
I have a 2004 in mint condition with 389,200 miles on her I rebuilt everything at 335,700 miles. The motor, transmission, front end, rear end, replaced drive shaft and rebuilt the transfer case. All in for about $10,793.98 I had her for many years now and she needed nothing but normal maintenance. And has been good to me so I figured I could go out and spend $10,000 on a used car. Or keep her because she been royal too me I think i made the right choice she has zero rust i got her sprayed and rust proof at Crown every 4 years. 💯❤
Agreed!
Lincoln hit a home run with this one. Everything about it was perfect. The interior is still one of the most beautiful of any vehicle, even to this day. The redesigns after this one were still great, but disappointing compared to this one. Escalade picked up the ball and ran with it.
Would you recommend a GMT800 Cadillac Escalade or this Generation Lincoln Navigator?
@@charlesmchoop3007there's some better aspects on the escalade like how they had a better rear bench than the navigator and a rear truck bumper with a step and rear heated seats but navigator has front cooled seats available and a power liftgate and 4x4 if you want to off-road instead of awd
@@aljaberhk Thank you.
I already did my research & I'm gonna stick to GM. There are for my taste to many issues with the Lincoln, Ford in in general. Beautiful vehicles but for me it's easier to deal with the issues that will occur (no matter what & how good the maintenance & treatment was) on Chevy/GMC/Cadillac then in Ford. Don't want to deal with the engine issues etc.
the 2003-2006 Lincoln Navigator was assembled in
Wayne, Michigan, United States
Louisville, Kentucky, United States
Reminds me of going to Florida for vacation when I was a kid! For some reason some fords and Lincolns bring back those good memories. That's why I like these cars also I think I like them becuse they are not just cars they are big Machines always loved cars like these
Are we there yet
No
MY CAR!!!
That's the reason why I came to this it's because I wanted to see what the Lincoln Navigator was like my car!
Why Me why me
TAKE ME NOW, TAKE ME NOW!!
my favourite SUV ever! Lincoln Navigator 2006!! Very gorgeous !!!
my most favorite car ever. i love this generation. this is my aunts dream car.
I gotta say this navigator was nicer than the escalade in 2003
Patrick Peterson definitely no doubt 2003 escalade didn’t even have power tailgate or ventilated seats or power running boards the Navigator had way more features And looked better and had a better price
B Gerbs but everyone preferred the Escalade becuase those bulletproof 6.0 that’s were a beast and fantastic Bose audio systems
The Lincoln had a THX audio system
@Pattrick Peterson Lincoln and Chrysler, usually, have much better interiors than GM. Most of my previously owned GM vehicles, with few exceptions (1996 1500 and 2002 Avalanche), aged worse than other makers. (Ford, Isuzu)
I'm American but i've been raised in france and I can tell you even though it's a 2006 car it looks very good inside and outside !
Love the sound of that V8
am i the only one disappointed that when he opened the navigator part of the console there wasnt a gps in there
SUZUKI FORENZA
theaznkid360 the system is so dated I would replace it anyway
Me
That's it?
Derek Townsley they still work great though man. I had an ‘03 LS V8 Premium Sport that was in showroom condition, but totaled it two years ago. It had the same system and everything worked great, including the navigation. I preferred it over my phone! And that THX sound system sounded better than my six other Lincolns too 😞
Finally made my dream a reality and bought one.
Sergio Guadian ugh I want one, I should have gotten one instead of my lovely Accord
Lucky,
it cheap right
Saleh 1 my delarship its 5k and im surprised how much it is
@@Underappreciatedclassics 2nd gen Navigator still going strong!! Best navigator style in my opinion.
I really love the design of this navigator and its very luxurious interior very nice car it beats escalade all the way
Oscar arzate
already saw this Navigator in Mission: Impossible 3 in the Bridge scene so epic!
But why does a navigator have no navigator?
It is a different Lincoln Navigator is supposed to have a screen a big one
Because it’s not the fully loaded version... the navigation was optional on this one though
Taurian Moon you yourself the navigator
This was more of a base model
back then on most luxury cars the sunroof and navigation were just options
Man... watching this video makes me want one again,
I remember getting an Uber and the guy had a Lincoln Aviator, it’s similar to the Ford Explorer, but is a more luxurious version. Same goes for the Navigator and Expedition of course, one is more luxurious than another.
Congratulations 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉
I love the design of this navigator its very nice and my favorite thing about this navigator is its luxurious interior and it toatally beats escalade
This man does outstanding car reviews
That boy doesn't know anything about the main thing about the vehicle. Engine !!!
I also own a Mark and feature on my channel. It’s great to see one of these classics still on the road. Thanks for sharing yours.
Kyle is the best UA-camr for homework
Beautiful Truck. I WANT ONE. I Love Those Navigators. Great Video Man, Keep IT Up.
You meant suv
I like the rims and I love power running boards!
You're awesome dude keep up the work!
Great video as always! I like the color!
This looks like it should be the second new truck !!! 😍
Back in '05 my girlfriend bought a brand new Navigator for about $65K. I put several thousand miles on it during our years together and it was simply fantastic. I've had some nice cars during the last 40 years but that '05 Navigator was tops. You cannot go wrong when buying a Lincoln.
randy109 Lincoln is the best bro. I’ve owned seven of them and will never buy any other brand. It just feels so right to me when I’m behind the wheel of one. One thing I really love is that they’re really looked past, so it’s definitely a somewhat unique brand to drive and love. Everybody is always like “Cadillac this, Lexus that,” blah blah blah. They forgot about the most classy, sophisticated one of them all. The one that was made for the utmost comfort and nothing else. Nothing rides like a Lincoln.
I really like the new Navigator with the unique headlights.
I'm not usually a fan of the bluish/silver color, but I thought it looked really good on this Navigator :) Great video, Kyle!
I just bought a 2004 Navigator today. I've owned a 1989 Town Car and a 1997 Town Car and have driven a 2004 Town Car. I would without question prefer the Navigator over the Town Car. It is the pinnacle of Lincoln. And it's an SUV!
So I assume you would recommend one? We are thinking of getting one for our travel vehicle and a hauler.
camshaft53149 You won't regret buying it. I've only been in an '04. Lincolns aren't really Lincolns anymore so I don't know about the new ones.
Alright thanks for the feedback. Definitely trying to get input of why I should get a Navigator over an expedition or whatever. :)
Gary Walcott My father was a big Lincoln guy, so my first car to drive in high school was an 84 town car. I loved that car... a 16 year old was so out of place in it, but I wasn't !!!
The Navigator was never the pinnacle of Lincoln...that would be the various generations of the Continental.
finally! and awesome suv and rims
This design is sooo much better than the new one!
saabkyle04 i got to say im a new subscriber to youtube and i got to say you did a great jobwith this start up video and all the other ones well done.
one subscriber from KSA , keep going dude
Hey Kyle, great video! Quick question, how come it doesn't have the window switches on the door like the Expedition does? Thanks!
One day ! Very nice and very informative.
this reminds me so much of are we there yet.
That's what I'm looking for right now
Just got the same model in black 149,000 miles no air suspension the dealer install regular suspension so glad
Didn't know u could do that and how much money
jason hawkins idk they took off the air suspension long before I bought it
@@icymayne love that style
jason hawkins same wish I still had mines I totaled mines due to a driver slammed on their breaks and I dint have enough time to move that big truck out the way I was pissed 😡
@@icymayne hey u are still here to buy another God bless you
cool, i've always liked these, but now i think the newer one is my favorite design :)
Hey Man
I am looking for Lincoln Navigator 2006 and I need some help to get one like that
My dream car!!
awesome video, been wanting one on this vehicle but haven`t asked, lol. I like this front design much better than new design, but can`t wait until they put their new Lincoln nose on it for great looks thanks for the video.
Like these SUVs :)
the transmission on the 2003-2006 Lincoln Navigator
Transmission
4-speed 4R100 automatic
6-speed ZF 6HP26 automatic
Which transmission was better?
It's really nice, I might buy one
This was posted in my birthday
Love it! I have the same one same color!
LuluVera26 what color is your car??
I am looking for one like yours
can you help me find one ?
that looks nice, i u laready had a linclon navagator on ur channel my stepmoms family has a navatigator it was my grandpas but when he passed away it just goes to who everneeds to borrow

in 6:40 the song is Algo Esta Cambiando by Julieta Venegas , yep i heard it in 2007
@1SirCarlton The 24v engine was actually an improvement over the older 32v engine. The intake on the old 32v engine was very restrictive and it didn't have variable camshaft timing like the newer 24v engine. The 24v made much more low end torque and just as much hp. However the new 5.0 and 6.2 liter engines should be put in the new navigator as they are better than both engines.
totaly loooveee the navigator.
Great Video I'm looking at 2005 Black seeking to pick it up this Friday keep my fingers crossed.
@Rama Nrusimhadevara It was sold Oh, Well back to the drawing board.
My father had one of this, he change it for a new MKX, fuel economy...you know. I miss the Navi, you feel like king of the road. And that start up sound...Ahhh
@strumem90 I have no idea, I thought the same thing. They actually started using the 3v in this year so I am assuming that it could run on regular with no problem, especially since the 4.6 3v that was more aggressively tuned has no problem with regular.
my DREAM !!!
I gotta admit that old Lincolns sound good
Are you going to be doing a video of that Saab I saw in the background?
are these body style navigators good cars?? I'm thinking about purchasing one.
@SilveradoNation01 it does have navigation hthe thinng tht says navigator by the dash you push it and the cover slides back
Interior looks way better than new navigator
cool truck
Sir, I love cars but I only like the discontinued ones cuz I miss them!!
Nice Rims :-)
Gangsta Truck!!
Was she the first owner? How does she drive, does she lay on the gas pedal from the start? Problems with the transmission or other shit like the power windows?
@wheely132 yes the Lincoln Aviator, of which Kyle has a video of was the initial upgrade to Lincoln, lol.
These Navigators are so much better than the new ones.
Nah 2023 better
❤ the color
Are we there yet vibes
That thing is missing so many pieces. It's missing the panels that hide the third row motors, the little pad in the second row console
Right, because it's found in both the Suburban and the Yukon, and the Caprice Patrol Car (which I found funny when it was released).
your videos are the best please send me some of the latest videos.
the engine on the 2003-2006 Lincoln Navigator
Engine
5.4 L InTech DOHC V8
5.4 L Triton SOHC V8
my dad had a 2004 lincoln navigator that lasted over 200 thousand miles but eventually the brakes failed so we got rid of it but it was a great truck for the time that we had it
The brakes failed so you got rid of it because of that? Lol
@@justinsmith1831 well at the time we were moving 800 miles away and it wasnt worth keeping so thats why we got rid of it
Good car
@Goldenrod636 Yes, an Aviator that Kyle has a few vids of on the channel.
I love this interior but I really hate the ones from the Expeditions
man i want this car so bad
@1SirCarlton Today it still is (somewhat). Interior (retro design), exterior (defy's the book definition of SUV design), seats (Cross Stitching vs. Vertical Stitching), suspension, and weight. Just think, it will always be better then an Escalade.
i agree inside and out..
9 years ago, wow seem like a long time ago.
@danblaney1 yeah i know. i liked the way the Navigator was different from the Expedition back then.
This is a nice upgrade from the expedition, which i have, but i have to say i like the KR version of the expedition better than the navigator.
@Kbling22 What color is the color? (Interior, and exterior) ?
That is a very awesome car compared to my land cruiser
hey kyle, could you mind doing that saab shown at 00:17? thanks
definitely!!!
Like the video but I would like to see a test drive of a Lincoln mark LT
nice car i like
@saabkyle04
Oh ok lol. I wasn't sure because I noticed some of the vehicles you features had little to no gas in them.
My dad has this!!
the 2003-2006 Lincoln Navigator/Ford Expedition/Ford F-150 was assembled in
Wayne, Michigan, United States
Louisville, Kentucky, United States.
@saabkyle04 man, and if it's one with the lever, not with the knob, or button, or anything that is shifted electrically, please do a lever lol, but you can also do anything that is shifted into electrically, thanks man.
I'm saving up for the 06 model now. Goes hard
Since 9 years have past. Have you've got it?
@@chrisjanicki4031 hell naw. Got the expedition rn tho lol. Basically the same thing
@@TelviontaeNash I honestly didn't even expect to get a reply! Enjoy your car man! And by the way you made my day!
