I absolutely love how each April fools video gets increasingly more and more chaotic
Sam, one of these days you've got to trademark the Martin Mart-Martinson name just so you can sell your 3D printed models under the name for one of your future April fool's.
Even with bits missing, this still makes me laugh. I'll be pre-ordering a Tamas pipe train! Can we get a Purcee or a Jayems in the future?

Sam I just wanted to say what a great guy you are, to have listened to the feedback and re edited this video. There are too many arrogant people on UA-cam. (This includes some train fixer channels). But you have listened and shown maturity and empathy. We all make little errors of judgement at times, but what shows our worth is when we try and correct them.
You are a true gent.

I think this type of video should have a life of it's own beyond April 1. Say a two or three minute video every time you have a rant that needs venting. It might also be theraputic. This format is too good to only get used once a year. Keep up the good work and keep pointing out the overpricing and the inconsistent quality.
Still a great video regardless of the missing bits, in some ways I think it makes it funnier, I'll make sure to pre-order a Tamas pipe train immediately! Any chance of a Goorden in the future? -TIDS

EFFING BRILLIANT! I was at my fave hobby shop here in Ottawa yesterday and noticed that a Bachmann wagon that has been on the market for 20 years was priced at CDN$62.00! I thin I paid about CDN$30.00 for a variation of the same model 5 or 6 years ago. Model RR manufacturer's world wide have lost their freaking minds!

In other news, the Big One from Blackpool is now being produced by Hornby in 1:1 scale for £33,500 standard edition, £58,000 DCC fitted and £970,000 TTS sound fitted.

I do really think we should have some more model roller coasters, theres the comet (which isnt really the comet) but i really do think we should be seeing more model coasters, and fairground/amusement park rides in general.

Thanks Sam, for taking the time to modify....this one is better (in my humble opinion) and the repairer bloke is the best of the lot (of characters), you could use him and the other bloke who came up with the idea of the pipe train, and even develop a series of sorts. Thanks again.

This version is an improvement Sam. I'd like to make a recommendation though. Next time make it like Prime Minister's Questions and make the model railway subject like it's the top political issue of the day (like partygate has been for example). Check out some youtube clips of Rory Bremner impersonating the likes of Tony Blair/Boris Johnson etc and you'll get the idea.

@@SamsTrains I disagree. Because not everything will make everyone laugh. That's just impossible. You've now removed things that make some people laugh and upset people by doing this. That's the problem with appeasement, you sacrifice principles and credibility and still end up doing the same thing.
@@SamsTrains Well, your choice, I respect it. Humour is something very hard to do, you cannot please everyone, and you have to choose.
I'm writing for a specific audience, and I can make some harsh and black humour, that is part of my signature as an author. I tackle specific subjects with an analytic stance, so I can make some humour that would not being accepted on a general audience story.
You makes the choice to talk to a general audience, so it requires some adjustments, let's say. You are young, you don't have a broad experience yet, and this is a way for you to learn. It's OK for me if you choose to trim what is perceived as pointlessly offensive by some on a general audience channel. It's your choice, and you assume it.
