Prices are low in Dollars or Euros. But what kind of salaries do Russian employers offer? Poland where I live is hardly more expensive. But the minimum salary is slightly above 700 Euros per month.
Maybe we should compare taxes at the same time? Yesterday I paid the heating bill for the previous month. I have a one-room apartment, which I own. I live alone, I am a pensioner. The payment came to 831 rubles. I refused to pay according to the meter - I pay according to the established tariff. I regulate the temperature in the apartment like all Russians - by opening or closing the window. If you add to this the cost of electricity, water and garbage removal, it will come to approximately 2.5 - 3 thousand rubles. Now decide for yourself - is it expensive or cheap, good or bad..🤔
I don't think you get it. The average Russian wage is 23,000 rubles a week, or $227USD/ $216 Euros. Those grocery prices are about half the price we pay here in Australia and our average weekly wage is $1,180USD / $1,124 Euro. Those Russian grocery prices are horribly expensive for the locals!

They don't have dozens in Russia, they do it by 10s. Considering that they make ~$15k/yr and Americans make ~$70k/yr... Americans spending ~0.30-0.40 cents per egg compared to Russians ~0.12 cents, is a MUCH BETTER DEAL, lol.
For someone in the West, the prices look quite ok but when you consider the average wages and especially the pensions in Russia they are really very high!! Thanks for sharing and stay safe ❤

Looking at your prices makes me believe a few thousand super rich men set all the prices across the earth because they are all about the same. But, I did like your price for a dozen eggs of $1.20.
What are you talking about ? The same prices ? Do you have a brain ? Then use it . Eggs for $ 1, 20 in russia are much more expensive for a Russian who as a teacher earns around $ 800 per month , then the eggs in Great Britain at around the same price , but my earnings are $ 3200 a month . Never compare only the price of a product in different countries . You always must compare , how long you have to work in different countries to earn the money to buy the product . Then you see that the eggs in russia are 4 times as expensive for a Russian then for me in England . Even when the price is the same
Keep in mind the average Russian salary is about $700/month.
Hello from Alaska ❤
It's a difficult task to make direct comparisons about food prices in different countries when considering average wages. The best way is to compare is to figure out how many hours you have to work to buy the goods.
very cheap compared to australia we have 10% food inflation for the last 3-4 years pepsi 2l $3.60 au eggs 7-8$ bread 3-4$ ,4kg potatoes 7$ ,2kg flour 3$ milk 2l 3-4$
The seasoning on the Lay's products gives me muscle cramps. I can't eat that brand. Only the plain chips now. Itlooks cold in that market.
Alex really likes that water 👍😀
Long time no see your channel hello from Texas.usa 🤠
Those cases for caviar are called pastry cases in English. You could fill them with sweet jams of any flavour.
Thanks 💕 🤣🤣🤣
Beautiful scarf. You should sell those. I'd buy one. You really do excellent work. That scarf looks like you bought it at an expensive store. ❤
Especially as it has a label on it.
Well...prices are diffrent everywhere...it.s all about wages and taxes and profit ..this 3things ...is influence all markets...
Expensive when compared to income level, in Russia the average salary is 300-600€, while in Finland an unemployed person gets 1200€ per month and the average salary is over 3600€
And what are the expenses that come with that salary. People really say a lot without context.
That will run out soon.
😂😂😂😂😂
How much is the rent in Finland ?
Australian here. Those prices seem very cheap, but of course the important question is how much they've gone up in the last few weeks.

Prices won't be affected until the end of the month. It takes a couple of weeks to see changes.
Alex looks more Cute in the Scarf ❤
You'll have to wait 3 weeks to a month for the prices to really change. That is a really nice scarf that you made.
Love your channel from Phoenix Az
I crochet. I'm like Alex... Wouldn't think of buying a scarf at the store
The very rich in Russia doing very well however.
Yah, and very poor in Russia, which is 99% of the population will starve now! (It is sarcasm in case you uncapable of recognizing one, which is very likely!)
The rich leave russia when they've earnt or stolen enough money, life is far better in the west 👍🏻
The very rich in every country are doing very well, the rich always get richer and the poor poorer.
Granny Smith are great for salads. 🍏
Average annual wages 2023: US above 80k USD, Germany 62k USD, France & UK around 55k USD, Russia 1,240,000 RUB (at the current FX rate 11k USD, i.e. 1/7 of the US wages) - keep this in mind when you compare prices and blame your president
Don't know where you got your figures but the average in UK is not 55k, it is 36k.

@@chrysalis4126 36k USD that‘s only 28k GBP. Wow, you really destroyed your economy.
Average salary is 59 thousand in the USA . Let’s subtract rent, car, insurances for accommodation and car, medical insurance , payment for debts like education loan. How much is left ?)
