Sorry, if I seemed to over explain the processes. I am a retired Communications Engineer, and in my job, lots of step by step notes were required to get the work orders to flow smoothly. So, in making this video, If I repeated myself, too much, my apologizes.
So what your saying is you have to glue the trumpet to the pipe, and glue the pipe to the trumpet then you glue them both together the pipe to the trumpet and the trumpet to the pipe then they will be glued. Then you get some bondo and you bondo from hear to hear,......Note to self:Glue trumpet to pipe and pipe to trumpet...i hope i remember you sure did make this a tuff build i pray i dont mess up
+Ultimate Railfan, Search youtube for Rabbit Ridge PVC Train Horn Test, and you can hear a set of five differently tuned horns blowing at the same time. I think they sound pretty awesome. Check it out, and thanks for the interest and comments. The trumpet bells were all made using the same form, just cut down in size to get the correct note.
I purchased a table lamp at Lowe's for $19.97 and destroyed it, by cutting the tapered base part of the lamp off with a large tubing cutter. Then I pulled all the electric components out of it, and used the metal lamp base as a mold for the rest of the procedure. The build part 2 video shows how to remove the mold, in order to reuse it for other build of horn bells. Hope this helps.
