Great idea to prep for the birthdays ahead of time! I would agree that simple is best...I way overdid my birthdays last year (birthday treat bags filled with candy/toys plus a birthday crown). That was way too much money and time. I retired from teaching after last year and I think I did it because I knew it was my last year. But, it was still way too much, and too expensive.

Agreed! Sometimes keeping things simple is best! But knowing to splurge because it is your last year is also totally understandable! :)

Great vlog! Love the ideas! Instead of the spray, you could also use matte mod podge. I use a foam brush and paint it on the laminated item. It works wonders!

I found matte laminating sheets on Amazon! I haven't tried them yet, but I am exited to.

Are you a first year teacher?! Congrats! I always tell new teachers to remember to ask parents how their children are getting home the first day (depending on the grade level you teach). Also, know that the first day you will be mostly spending unpacking school supplies so make sure you have a coloring packet of some sort to keep kids busy while you unpack and arrange! Best of luck! :)

I use a command strip to attach my doorbell to the back of my ID badge!

you can lalminate the cardstock and then cut out. Only have to cut out circles once! Saves so much time and doesn't peel.
Anything to save me from cutting those circles 😅
