For punch finishers, the idea is that they can only do it when people *least* expect it. For Logan and Big Show, people KNOW what to expect, so they're gonna be looking for signs of the punch and dodging it (like when Brock immediately stopped charging Big Show when he saw Big Show going for the KO punch that one time) so to do the move when least expected is their only shot
Jericho's learning tree is a interesting thing because you either love it and think its hilarious or you absolutely hate it and wish jericho would go away lol, ive seen both sides of that take

I'm pretty sure Jericho came up with the Codebreaker because he needed a more "instant" finisher and not one that required more set up like the Lionsault. Plus, it looks cool when he uses it as a "outta nowhere" counter like Randy with the RKO. The Judas Effect just looks like his old spinning elbow with a lot more drag.
The musclebuster and the F5 are goated. So is the Clothesline from Hell. Also the Helluvakick should have never been Sami finisher it should have always been the Blue Thunder Bomb
The shell shock and the angle slam are essentially the same move performed slightly different I’m jotting saying the shell shock is amazing but why rate them so drastically different
I miss the matches were the wrestlers would almost scout out their opponents finisher and know what to avoid and when the wrestlers would work towards that finisher like Bret Hart would work the legs or Ric flair would work the legs or Angle would work the ankle or Austin would do things to weaken the neck so that when he hit the stunner it did more damage and he could win. I miss those scientific matches like that where the wrestlers would sell who can hit their finisher first. It's the diamond cutter versus the whatever. They don't do that anymore
imo big show’s ko punch looked believable cause he a big ass mf and if he did land one of those its over no matter who it is but logan looks dumb doing it and big show did use it outta nowhere alot to my recollection
Hot take, the best wwe finisher of all time is the RKO, It can be done in air as catch finisher, off the top rope, , off structures like cells or tables aswell as through tables, ladders and chairs. Randy ortons finisher can be used anytime in or out of the ring in any place in a wwe arena. To add on to this the finisher is already good enough but the “outta nowhere” aspect is what makes it 10/10! Just my opinion tho what do I know 🤔
Everyone that took Kenta's GTS looked always hella nasty. That's the one difference is that some people with Punk's GTS took it better than others but everyone who took Hideo Itami's GTS just looked like they basically died. But nothing gets better than the RKO that's the king of finishers
Bray Wyatt's clothesline might not have been a finisher, but he would have this vicious yell right as he landed it, and it would make it feel soooo much more impactful, it is truly his best move, even if Sister Abigail was great and I actually liked that he got the mandible claw... I thought it was awesome, man I miss Bray Wyatt... Thank you for all you have given us, and thanks Taylor for bringing back some of that magic, hopefully for many years to come.
When it comes to finisher Kevin Owens/Steen has, it depends on if you consider how iconic or how vicious it looks. His most iconic finisher is the Package Piledriver. His most vicious is the Steenalizer.

Honestly, my favorite finisher is the Tombstone. It looks like he kills his opponent every time and the unique pinning combination is amazing.
For me it's Kane's Chokeslam with Sweet Chin Music being a very very close second followed by everyone's spear in 3rd because I can't pick just one.
