- A sunrise hike on the best trail in Glacier National Park- The Highline Trail to Grinnell Glacier Overlook and Granite Park Chalet. This is one of the most beautiful and rugged parks in the country, and this hike traverses most of the park in one day, couldn't recommend this trail enough. When was this? We did the hike July 23, 2023. Definitely a favorite hike of all times! We had to skip the overlook portion because it would have been way too much for our 8 yr old (at the time), so it's nice to see your footage. Thanks!

Glacier is the best!
Really epic hike! The Grinnell Overlook part is definitely quite steep, but totally worth it if you can handle it. Pretty cool that you saw the goats too. They are certainly cute, although having a standoff with them on the narrow part at the beginning of the trail near Logan Pass can be a bit scary.
I did this trail in August. It is definitely the best hike in Glacier National Park.

I went to glacier last year but was unable to do highline trail. Already got reservations for next year and its the number 1 thing on my list to do!
