Reminds me of a rumor I heard on yume 2kki online, it says that there's an npc that follows you throughout worlds, starting from the horror maze and it's undocumented on the wiki, but that would require sniperbob to ask every dev to add herobrine into all of their worlds for when you beat the horror maze..... It would probably make more sense to have it follow you through ONLY sniperbob's worlds.
You might be able to do something if it's a common event using a picture instead of a sprite. It would be hell to code and wouldn't be as versatile as an actual map event but if you've already made a 3D maze in rpgmaker and only need to spook the player a little I think it would be possible to pull off

if any1 is reading this, i need some help. im trying to figure out if there are any of the developers still in forums or anything of the sort. Reason being is because im interested in trying to help improve the 2kki explorer😅 i'd like to organize it, but i need the ability to save my work, click and drag worlds wile zooming in-out, and the worlds to grow-srink as you zoom. Id learn HTML and just do it all myself but that would be more nuts than what im trying to do in the first place 😆
You should also go to Animated Hub World, I made the world and tried to test how far I can take the engine with animation, turns out it can lag loading all the frames, but I’d like to see you explore the world! It’s very small
