I don't feel like Kayex is unemotional, unlike what everyone else's take seems to be.
He's very cryptic, but there's an undeniable lament about the state of Tertium. He just seems... sad and resigned, more than anything else.

No doubt he can feel the pain of the fusion grid, more potently than others probably. If I were to guess, hadron is more logical in his approach of the task at hand, with kayex being the emotional part of the mission the two of them instruct the soldiers in.

Don't forget Vengeful. ".... account must be made. Reckoning taken. Only then can vengeance be delivered."
But honestly KX-8 is very direct about it. He even refers to the destruction of the chem lab as "a kindness that will not be forgotten", and the machine spirits "crying out for the release of unfunction". Its actually quite dramatic for an AdMech.

Half of Hadron's lines can be boiled down to "Okay keep it in your pants new guy"

I love how Kayex doesn’t speak efficiently or simplistically. He speaks much like a tech priest version of the zealot, using metaphors, assumptions, and feelings in his words. He intentionally makes himself feel pain, as he sees the machines as equivalent to humans. In comparison to hadron ( who speaks very efficiently and quick , in addition to intentionally limiting her speech so that the non-initiated can understand her better) Kayex makes her seem like a reasonable and well adjusted tech priest who is clearly much better at working with fleshlings than Kayex. Hadron repeatedly tells him to cut the extra flashy terms and clearly gets slightly exasperated with Kayex because of his fanaticism. I just really like their interactions cause it gives us both sides of the Mechanicus coin. Kayex being the over the top mechanical zealot, and Hadron being the methodical and efficient manager.

Machines equivalent to humans is not really metaphorical in this universe, every doorknob is a skull with a human mind inside controlling the door. Think Kayex is one of the rare few who are somewhat appreciative and sorrowful about the whole arrangement. Maybe he doesn't care about the servitor minds and just machines in general but who knows. Personally I think seeing a few characters that are self aware of how awful everything is, even to a minor extent, helps make the universe somewhat more believable. It's only grimdark if there is a tiny light of humanity and hope in the overwhelming darkness after all.

Hadron really feels and talks like normal 'human' compared to this new tech priest guy. I guess that's one of the reason why i like Hadron as a character, she feels human and shows a bit of caring throughout the missions and story, at least for technoarchaeologist.

I only wish they'd add some lingua technis into the mix, like Mechanicus did.
Within the context of Mechanicus it makes perfect sense, as the command staff only speaks to those who are equipped to understand lingua technis, so they do not need to reserve to an inefficent language form. Here, Mechanicus element is working with humans, so they must also speak in a fashion that usual humans would understand.
But if they add mechanicus characters... I really wish they let admechs send "secret" messages to eachother (discussing other team members, maybe) in usual mechanicus speak.

While it might seem like a nice touch, for people not familiar with 40k this would be noticeably frustrating and confusing. The nice thing about KX-8 and Hadron's exchanges, is how it provides a crash course for what the "the sassy robot people" are about. It introduces the idea of the Techno-archeologist; which in just one term puts Hadron's job, and the game's crafting system, into better context. The weapons aren't just salvage, they're potentially ancient. And now Hardon's references to them as Relics, and reverence toward them, makes greater sense. As well as the AdMech's general condescending attitude to fleshy people (or more specifically the players), who only see the weapons as simple tools.
With Engineseer KX-8, even if you missed part about him being part of the Mourning Star's crew, the title alone suggests he works on larger systems. And his dramatic manner of speaking conveys a deeper connection and empathy for machines. He references machines in highly emotional terms, such "my children", in contrast to Hadron's curt, and playfully condescending tone toward the rejects. Interestingly as well, KX only talks down to the rejects to scold them for making a critical mistake, in exposing the Mourning Star to tech heresy threat via the Vox network connection. And as inversion of the norm, Hadron comes to their defense (in her own snooty way). The rest of the time KX8 treats them quite well. Does not insult them, and even pleas with them to free the machine spirits from their torment.
This did a fantastic job of avoiding just framing them as "hating humans", but helped make it clear that they mostly just hold Machines in much higher regard. And that their attitude toward meat bags/people is based on (at least on a basic level) as a sense of Ignorance vs Enlightenment. Granted the AdMech is the main reason for that divide; but thats neither here nor there. I guarantee this will be significant later on, if they ever introduce a straight up insulting Tech Priest, or a Dark Mechanicum agent into the story. Someone who can show clear contempt for fleshy peeps, as the extreme example of what the Mechancium philosophy can be like.

Tech priests usually talk to each other in binary machine code called lingua technis. They only use regular human speech (known as Low Gothic) when interacting with those who are outside of the Adeptus Mechanicus.
