After watching entire interview..i realized she is no where not accepting her faults..actually she is accepting her faults as big learnings.. She has issues with how unfairly she felt she was treated..which she has every right to talk about...we shouldn't judge her hurt or reaction to that episode based on her business failures (btw which she has accepted in the interview)..she is talking about the personal comments she and her partner received at the show and which she isn't okay with..i think we are unnecessarily too harsh on her...be in her place and judge the whole scenario once..thats it

They did 2L worth of sale previous month after several months of ad spending and blowing 10cr . And they have 3-4 CR worth of dead stock left . They came to ask for funding so that they can pay off the 1cr liability of meta and then close the company for good.
Entrepreneurs who spend 10cr on marketing and still have 1.7 lac sales give off a vibe that they got the investment so easily and donot understand the value of that money.

The founder doesn't have the humility to accept and learn from her mistakes. She thinks only she is right. She is only making one argument that they are making with sustainable materials. Indian consumers want value for money products, sustainability is irrelevant for them unless there is a good brand. She got such a good platform to promote her brand, but instead of materialising it, she is behaving like as if only her perspective is right, rest everyone is wrong.

I watched this podcast to learn more abour her brand as I love athleisure. She got a platform to talk about her brand. Instead she wasted it on talking negatively about Vineeta. How self-centred can you be, that you are stuck with one bad experience in life and keep talking about it all over social media. Clearly she has had a very protective upbringing and never faced real challenges in life. I am surprised that they managed to raised Rs. 10 Crores in investments pre revenue. If your ROAS is 0.2, clearly you are not a good marketeer. Also, no one literally no one cares for "sustainability" if the product is worse. People care about feel of the material, the design and comfort. Rather than cry at every podcast about Shark Tank, be grateful that you have been able to increase your sales because of it. Build on that have better marketing.

She seems like a very smart woman and an overachiever. But entrepreneurship is a completely different ball game. Most successful entrepreneurs don't get it right the first time, they adapt and improvise according to the market's feedback to their products. Hard to succeed if you don't accept that feedback.
Plus, the thing is achievers are used to a+b+c=d, where else in business where failure rate is so high, a+b+c could be anything. But she does live in denial a bit even if she could have a fair point wrt her complain about shark tank. Hopefully she finds success in her business.

I watch mostly all episodes of shark tank and moreover watch post air podcast of founders as well, for Aastey I think there was nothing offensive done on the tank, it was an honest feedback which has been put by all the sharks and would suggest work on the product and the brand, and take it forward.

I watched the entire episode. There is nothing wrong with what any of the sharks said. She still has 3cr. Of inventory and her entire brand to worry about but she's going everywhere and talking shit which didn't happen in the first place. As a founder you should also understand how much to speak and when to speak as well as the alignment between the seriousness of what you're saying and how you're saying.
