I think we will never meet a singer like Eric Adams again!
Eric and Manowar in general, have never had the credit and respect from the music establishment that they deserve. They have always had that from their fans and that is all that matters. I remember taking a mate on mine to see them on the Kings of Metal tour and he thought they were a gimmick. He was completely blown away by the vocals, the music and the clean, loud sound. He is still a fan to this day as I have been since Battle Hymns. This is one of my favourite songs and Sign of the Hammer is my favourite album (aye, I'm that auld to remember vinly originally) by Manowar. Thank you fir sharing brother. All Hail Manowar 🤘🏻🖤🇬🇧
What an honor to receive a comment from a historical brother, I am happy to share these rarities with my brothers and sisters. I wish I had more videos from the 80s. I have to thank Manowar a lot for lighting my soul and bringing out the real me.

I wish Manowar had done professional video recordings of THIS period--there's something very magical about an original lineup playing live in its young, lean, and hungry days.
I believe there ARE hours of these "original" tours with RTB...I've seen them filmed in NY/NJ.
JD had a fascination with recording everything ManOwaR did. The problem is he won't release them...very sad what JD is keeping from the fans of ManOwaR and RTB.Maybe one day, we can only DREAM =T=🦅🇺🇲
@@tommynyr I suspect they're waiting for their retirement. That way, they have something to fall back on financially. And while that's probably still a few years away, we might just get it then...
@@tommynyr - The irony is that the Hell on Earth series of DVDs are no longer sold on the Manowar website, most likely because of Karl and JD wants to whitewash that part of their history. So what is he waiting for if there are 80's shows filmed, none of us are getting any younger!

Thanks for posting. There are very few vids of these guys playing live in the 80’s. Makes me wonder were most the followers back then just part of the metal fad? They have become legends today but they lack the album sales they deserve. I’ve always wondered if their 80’s image hurt them or helped them get signed and noticed. They have some amazing songs but not the recognition. It’s also great to hear Ross. He sounds very different in his other projects, but something really clicked with manowar and his style. Supposedly he was asked to leave over money issues. They probably weren’t making much given their issues with record labels in the past.
Ever since I listened to Manowar I have always focused on listening to old concerts. I have my own collection of bootlegs and I think they should publish a lot of material about those years to make people appreciate what they were doing in the 80s and 90s.
I read that Ross left because he wanted to play other music.

Her zaman şunu düşünmüşümdür. Manowar neden koskoca 80 leri orihijinal kayıtlar olmadı geçirdi. 89 kings of metal dünya turnesinde bile çok düşük kaliteli bir kaç orjinal video var. Diğer gruplara bakıyorsun (iron maiden, metallica, black sabbaht vs) hepsinin 80 lere ve 90 lara ait orjinal kayıtları hatta dvd'leri var. Biz ise ancak böyle amatör seyircilerin çektiği kayıtlara muhtaç kalıyoruz.
I've always wondered why we have to struggle to see something live with Ross The Boss or even The Triumph of Steel era.
I have to settle for these live bootlegs that I found during my acquaintance with Manowar and luckily I found a lot of stuff.

I've seen him live and he plays with full power, straight out of his fingers ! No bs, heavy strings and sheer power. Manowar live guitar tones have been a major let down for a long time now. Ross always had such a full tone.
