Hello! Noticed a lot of people still watch this and comment! I don't currently post and this is older content that id love to redo one day! I currently dont really have the time to do videos but i appreciate those who can take something from these even if a bit outdated! Just remember all these videos are my own personal advice but my word isnt law! :p
My first species was a Musk Deer, eventually I became a skunk, then ram, now I am a ram-rabbit hybrid, and I have been sticking strongly with the character.
This is so relatable I’ve personally gone from cat to possum to red panda to cat again to manokit to protogen to cat again to skunk and now to mouse smh I gotta make up my mind also gl on your fursona fr
I’m still adding onto my main fursona but rn I got a normal black cat with pale lime eyes that has grey vitiligo paws, and a nose as well and their tail has a crook in it and they have a star earring along with stars on string that hang off their tail. Their personality rn is basically shy and introverted but once you get to know them their personality is spunky and wild!

Well, my first fursona (not really a fursona, just a anthro animal OC I made wayy before I joined the fandom) was made when I was 8, she was a green and white goat named "shine" and I literally just copied asriel from Undertale. And when I joined the fandom, I kept changing my main sona. The reason I was changing it is because I made my main fursona have things that I liked and not things that fit me. Because of this video I eventually made a fursona I have a deep connection with. She is a cat/shark hybrid that has my real name as her name.
My first species was a demon-wolf(god i was edgy qwq), second was a grey lion, third was a ferret, fourth was a black and purple snow leopard, fifth was a hyena, sixth was my own original species, Odemeras, and finally seventh, my archangel dragon.
I recently made a sona who is... Unorthadox, to say the least. He is an octopus/squid creature that apparently looks like cthulu. My other furry friends think hes a pretty cool and unique character.

Good first video. I would say to see if you can find something to fix the De-Esser. If you don't know what that is, it's the squeaky whistling sound you get when you say words that have the letters S and C. There's probably something free you can use but I'm not sure.
Also see if there's something you can use for a compressor, you did ok but there was a few times the volume went up when you said something, and a compressor can help with that.
No idea how this channel was recommended to me, but very happy it did!
My fursona is an African Wild Dog named Cheka (means ‘laugh’ in Swahili) who makes everything a game and just generally has lots of fun.
When I was scrolling through videos, I scrolled past only half looking, but then saw your ‘sona of an AWD as well and was like: ‘ooooo, what’s this I can see?’

Edit: Also, his eyes are different colours, not sure what to have yet, but at thinking either orange and blue, or dark blue and dark purple
When i was making my sona i focused WAY too much on being "unique" amd not enough on having fun! Inwent through dozens of creative, detailed, unique designs buf they just never clicked! I finally acepted that i just wanted to be an aussie shep lolz

I really wish I had gotten this video sooner so I don't get into a bad idea about how to create the fursonas.
That of the common spicies made me think of something different and alternative although, in the end, this path led me to choose the African Wild dog and I'm happy about it knowing that I have infinite creative freedom.
my sona is just a basic opossum, but, they have 80s arcade floor print in their ears, on their tongue, and on their beans lol

I remember as a kid I DESPISED the idea of lion sonas because in the circles i was in their common. Now my sona is part lion and I love him to bits

My fursona is a watermelon themed cat.
My first Fursona was a fox (so original) the a caracal, then a wolf/robot and now a lynx/saber tooth/dragon!
I would like to ask an interesting question for you, maybe it could be a bit of a brain teaser. If EmperorBoo and gLiTcH were given an interpretation of a Fursona? Well, I would opt for a life-sized haunted Doll that is a mishmash of different animal parts depending on who he wants to disturb or hang out with or maybe one of the much more rarer ones. Then again, the aforementioned mishmash haunted doll does sound a bit cooler than sticking with just one, especially when I can stick as many things together.
For context EmperorBoo is basically Luigi's Mansion King Boo just instead of having purple under both eyes he has a Calico type of thing where one eye is Black and purple while the other is white and Gold, with a rainbow jewel atop a... I forgot what Disco balls are made out of, so I'll just say it's like a disco ball crown, I know that the material has the same name as a Slime in Slime Rancher, and one of the much more rarer Slimes as well. Oh, and he also has a Zeekeeper (Mario and Luigi Dream Team Big Bird) blanket cape across his back.
As for gLiTcH he typically wears a big black top hat with a Music box inside of it that also has Tablet-like capabilities to be able to search up any song, the same Zeekeeper blanket across his back though that can occasionally disappear to bring out his BooBuster, basically like Meta Knights cape warping into wings except in this case it's a rainbow cape turning into a Proton pack. He typically wears a big black trench coat with Purple and Yellow buttons along the middle and a whole load of pockets with a big of an witch-like underdress at the bottom that has a galactic streak across it, and it also has a black hood covering the back side. Then there are his red gloves with green thumbs, Blue Boots with Orange at the bottom, yellow and purple sleeves and Pants, and a White Smiley/Frowning Mask (changes depending on what mood he *needs* to show) with black holes showcasing the mouth and eyes. Underneath all that though is just a galaxian blob of Ghostly ink with the only not dark and space-like part of him is his star shaped glass container heart, which is actually him and not the rest of the ghosts floating around him to make him seem humanoid, and the eyes and mouth that are just multi-colored rainbow circular spirals coming in and in to the character. Though since the ghosts each like to be so chaotic to the point where they might involuntarily cause most other characters who see him without his many costumes to hallucinate other, more easily comprehensible characters that they have met and will probably experience a whole Rush of emotions while they are under the hallucination(s).
So yeah, he could make himself seem like a Furry to others whenever he wants, and when each of the ghosts are feeling cooperative, like I mean, others would probably already interpret him as a Furry that they have already seen if they ever see him without his costume. Anyway, thanks for the advice, and I like all of yours, they look neat.

I personally think there is a wrong way to make a fursona, and it's making one that doesn't resonate with you. If you personally can't get attached to the sona, then it's not a good sona. This is why it is important to note that you shouldn't listen too much on what other people think about it compared to a regular oc. You call the shots on it. Though if I were to recommend anything, keep it simple stupid, if you think your sona is a nightmare to draw or want to commission someone affordable for a fursuit, it is advised to keep the sona simpler. Personally don't really resonate with my fursona as much as my madness combat sona, so I have a bad fursona lol.
You don’t have to connect with the character for it to be your fursona, if you like it, then it can be your sona and not a “bad” sona.
Me here with a sable tooth tiger… *animatronic* (I don’t want anything robotic if I have a fursuit I would just like the spaces between the animatronics like FNaF game and yes that fursona was designed when FNaF 1 got out Xd)

Does fury customizing feature in games count as makeing ur fursona?
I mean if you connect to that character, and you are a furry, and you actually want that to be ur fursona, then yeah! If you call it your fursona (and it’s original) then it’s your fursona.

I took an online quiz. Personally wise, I’m probably a dog. However I really like cats. I’m a cat person. I want my fursona to be a house cat even though some online quiz said I am a dog.
Don’t listen to online quizzes to make your sona EVER! If you want a particular species, make it that!
