Holy crap, two videos in a week! Is it Christmas already? The memories this brings back for me are incredible. Here's an age check for you: My intro to Judas Priest came by way of checking out the "Defenders of the Faith" record from our local library when I was 12. For two weeks I wore that album out, and just about ruined the "Love Bites" and "Heavy Duty" tracks. After that it was a matter of doing whatever I could to make money and buy Judas Priest albums. I mowed yards, dug up nightcrawlers to sell as fishing bait, pulled weeds in gardens, anything I could think of to make a dollar or two. I really miss the 80's sometimes. What a time to be alive!
Man, the fact you were cool enough to not only remember that but share it...I thank you! I was about 8 when I heard this particular song and I heard it at a roller rink 🤣🤣. But, to show there are similarities more than differences - I got a job at Radio Shack to pay for my first Metallica cassette 😅. And then I joined that club where they mailed you a few cassettes a month.. I do wish I could relive it on one hand. It's amazing to me I couldn't wait to grow up and now ...I'd go back no questions asked. Appreciate you my friend!!!
Bread-n-butter metal, played like a pro! Love that you included the giant gated reverb on the big floor tom hits - a great ode to the original recording. All around just...Awesome!
Not only was this a phenomenal cover. But to fold in a Tropic Thunder clip well that’s brilliant. Nice to see you on the feed. Confidence stance here dude.
Excellent performance Trey. You're just crushing this with your powerful beats and the kick ass sound you dialed up, on the floor toms especially. Friggin killer my man! 🤘🤘💥💥
Hey, you had another thing comin´ for us Trey B-Junkies. And how great is it. All in one session ( or you´re wearing the same outfit for days ). Your punch is unreal.
What is going on here???? Dude, 2 banging covers in a row!!!!! I think i saw something in the bible about this, in Revelations about this being one of the signs of the apocalypse or something........(actually i better not say that because some people will take it seriously and start prepping for Armageddon) 😅 I'm serious!!!!! (No disrespect to the bible intended) Yeah, that was quite the unexpected treat brother!!!! As alaways im digging how youre arranging your tracks and effects on the toms. It's all good. Man i am so tempted to put up my Trey B hulk image on my next vid....... 😆 🤣 😂 Awesome man, just freaking awesome!!!! 😊❤
Killer. You probably don't remember me but you were one of my sister's best friends when she was in high school (Deana Wooton). You attempted to give me my first drum lesson when I was like 10 years old. Glad to see you're still rocking.
@@TreyBDrumshave you ever thought of doing a song from this decade? 😆😆😆 for instants… Highway Tune by Greta Van Fleet! The band consists of three brothers, two are identical twins… and the drummer is a friend of theirs. 🤔
@@charlenemack7040 🤣🤣🤣. Of course I did! I like a lot of way more current stuff i don't put on here because I'm not sure ppl would like it. I'm sitting here listening to Beartooth (GREAT band). Van Fleet is cool. Love Dirty Honey. Love Motionless in White. In This Moment...I'm an octane radio guy 🤣🤣
Man, the reverb on those floor toms around the 4:00 mark is just HUGE (I love it). Just curious, I might be wrong because my hearing is pretty much smashed at this point, BUT, it sounds like your toms are panned L-R from the drummer's perspective (so the floor toms are on the right), and the cymbals are panned L-R from the audience perspective. Am I imagining things?
Just like the GnR cover, high energy and pure power. What you using these days for drum track removal? I know you were using xtracks (or something like that) before. I kind of envy you real drum players. No one expect your kit to sound like the original, or maybe I put that pressure on myself. I'm struggling to find the right snare sound for a classic Megadeth tune. I might just throw in the towel and use what I got. Anyway, have a great rest of your weekend. -Much love, B.
Using Moises now to make tracks deumkess B. Xtrax up and left everyone in the middle of the night LOL! For real...they just split. Have t refunded anybody's subscriptions or anything. On the snare, take some JST samples and blend them in maybe with SF3 libraries. Or hell, find a drum iso of the song and sample the actual snare. I've tried that before.
BRO...WTF?!! You been hanging out here in Cali at Muscle Beach?! I turn on my tv, cue up UA-cam, & see some fit looking mf'er playing drums in a thumbnail, but he's looks familiar! I was like, "Trey B?!!" Awesome song selection aside, you look FXCKING PHENOMENAL! Time for me to quit fxcking around & get to it!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Well, I'm about 144 lbs so don't know about muscle beach LOL! But, I've been so damn stressed thanks to life, the entire year - only actual activity that helps get away is some form of working out. I greatly, greatly appreciate your amazingly kind comment my friend 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Sorry, but perhaps next one cover could be that ? ua-cam.com/video/02KelULU8tU/v-deo.html Onslaught - Bomber of Motorhead. Mr Steven Gryce (the drummer) was one of a founders of the Onslaught in 1983 and as owner of brandname of the band.
Real pro drummers would show themselves playing on a stage in front of audiences not in their basement. Wow a fifty something guy can pretend to play with Judas Priest. What’s the purpose of posting this?
Playing like you are in front of 20,000 people... Killer cover. Awesome job sir.
