No internet access windows 10? So you did a fresh install of windows and now you are getting error Ethernet doesn't have a valid ip configuration unidentified network? well don't worry. i will show you step by step on how to fix and resolve this common problem.

i just turn off pc flip power switch so pc receive no power hold power button and hold power button to flush caps, then turn on pc it works for some reason.

Careful if unsinstalling the network driver, you will need a second device with internet connection to download the drivers from.

@@bharatthami5008 take out the cable and put it back if it doesn't work then do this, connect your pc it shows the ip thing then what you have to do is reset the router so go to your router and don't just take out the power what you have to do is press the button which says "reset" on top of it hope this fixes your problem
@@rohankishibe3696 and i have change modem and it started working but that modem is not sending any signal to a secondary router I am soo sacred by this internet during this lockdown

@@imrib3r160 right click on device manager and click scan for hardware changes which will be the only thing that will show and it will bring back the driver uninstalled then you know what to install.

When you're updating drivers you can check to see what drivers you used before in the "events" tab .. then right click the driver in device manager and show more drivers, choose the one that events showed last ..
how di i get the driver? does the other pc have to be commectred via ethernet? 4:54 why the hell would you think we wernt following step by step?
You just have to be connected by WiFi or ethernet
At this point ive just accepted that my laptop will never connect to the internet while using ethernet.

tried to mess with the ip and dns settings to get faster internet but instead broke it completely, after which windows couldn't automatically find the correct ones, lol

Hey guys I did all this and nothing worked, I unplugged my cable modem and router for a minute and plugged them in, then everything started working.

Great video, my only criticism is don't say go ahead and restart your computer and then add another step before you restart. People following this tutorial will hit reset before they flush the DNS.
I will not follow you again, I changed up address following your videos to speed up my computer Then tried to follow this one and got to need another computer. Nevermore.
FYI: Do not delete your driver unless you saved it first and you will need another computer too. Don’t say I didn’t tell you.

When doing “ipconfig /renew”
I would get the message “an error occurred while renewing interface Ethernet : unable to contact your DHCP server. Request has times out.”
It works so great. After I did those command promt things and restart the computer, the network came back. I dont need to follow futher steps that are shown in this video. Thanks a lot. Works better than i expected. 🙂👍

All you have to do is under Device Manager, Network Adapters, Right click and Scan for hardware changes and it'll come right back up.

Marlena Martin this did d not work, especially after a restart after uninstalling. Anyone know where I can manually reinstall? When I did uninstall it asked if I wanted to delete the driver files and I said no.

Edit: ok so i eventually got it to work about a week or 2 later, i guess for me my router literally kinda just exploded ob the inside. It was an "older" model from 2014 i think, and i guess it got too old? Literally what the guy from our service said and just told us he would give our family 2 router just cause

2:24 I’m using Windows 10 and the “change connection properties” option doesn’t exist.
For the ipconfig /release and for the ipconfig /renew it says "The operation failed as no adapter is in the state permissible for this operation"

Alessandro Vilucchi interestingly this is the last video i watched to fix my computer, if i recall correctly it has something to do with opening my motherboard and now i can only access short-distanced wifi range (like putting my laptop next to a router)
when i did ip config release all it said was that my address wasn’t associated with an network endpoint yet and nothing works
After having the same problem, none of these tips worked for me.
I ended up logging into my sky router and changing from 'gigabyte ethernet' to 'fast ethernet' and boom, it worked

After following half of this video, I went to the router and changed the ethernet port to another and simply like that it worked🤷♂️
Thanks to you since I uninstalled my wifi I had to reset everything and download everything all over again
I have an X201 Thinkpad. The ethernet has a yellow triangle in it on DM, I've tried everything and can't get it to work. There appears to be no available Windows 10 drivers for it.
For those of you who do not have a second computer, just tether your phone to the PC via USB or Bluetooth tethering to download the drivers to that troubled machine. Also it's always a best bet to watch a video through all the way before following the instructions folks.

@@ZoneDiem I turned off my computer and unplug the router for 5mins and rechecked ipconfig /all in cmd. The default gateway ip is missing. I end up turning off the pc, power down the router and unplug both (TP-LINK ) powerline adapters. Did a power down reset making sure there's good connection. Plugged everything in and it started working again.

This is usually a router issue and simply unplugging it for 30 seconds or so should take care of it
If you uninstalled your driver, and you wanted to re install it, you could search up restore, and press create a restore point. if you have your C disk turned on, that means that restore is working. press system restore and select the file.

I’ve had this problem multiple times and it continues to occur every so often. I’ve fixed it myself through various methods. The easiest fix I found was contacting my ISP and having them guide me through the process of re connecting me to the internet. Hope this helps someone in the future that also haves this problem. :)

@@najamsci2460 Do you have a working phone you are able to use? and do you pay for your internet services? If yes, I suggest getting a hold of your "ISP" (i.e. Rogers, Bell, etc) and having them guide you through the process of re connecting to the internet. It may take an hour or two on the phone depending on your situation, and the agent you speak with, but overall they should be able to find success in fixing your problem, and getting you back online.

That's definitely odd, but like I said, I recommend getting in touch with your ISP if you have access to your modem/router and having a technician guide you through the process of re enabling your ethernet connection. Sometimes it's just better to ask a professional for help, and I am by no means a professional.

Disable the Ethernet in settings, unplug it, turn off router, plug in Ethernet and then enable, and then turn on the router and hall should be go to go.

It will be specific to your motherboard
You can find what motherboard you have through device manager

bro if you are connected to router with LAN cable just put LAN cable in WLAN spot on your router.THen your pc will say something ''allow new ethernet bla bla'' you click yes and you will have ethernet once again.That worked for me after 3 FUCKING HOURS of youtube tutorials and none worked.All of ussuden i tried wlan and worked.

@@fransape9 try turning off your pc then unplug your lan cable from router.Plug it in diffrent lan spot (example from lan 1 to lan 3) and turn on your pc.If that doesnt work try instaling new drivers for ethernet.

I’ve done everything in this video up to 3:43, after I put that command in it says “ an error occurred while releasing interface Ethernet: an address has not yet been associated with the network endpoint”. I’m not sure what to do at this point, I’ve tried 3 Ethernet cables, reset my pc, took it into a pc repair place and it worked completely fine there, but at home my computer is the only thing that can’t stay connected to the internet, we’ve tried the Ethernet cables on other computers and it works, and everyone else has no issue with the internet.

@@ZoneDiem what i have to do to make my pc work is unplug the cord from the router for like 20-30 seconds and put it back in, unplugging it from the wall and resetting it didnt work, if i dont unplug it for about 30 seocnds, then i cannot connect to the internet, hope this helps.

Releasing the config threw me am error:
"An error occurred while releasing interface Ethernet : An address has not yet been associated with the network endpoint."
What does this mean?
"you can uninstall the driver, it's entirely up to you" and then after 10 minutes "you need another computer to get the driver that you just uninstalled". Instead of saying that it's entirely up to us you should have said "download the driver BEFORE you uninstall it". God I wish you would delete this video.
the problem is that if you had the exact same issure hes having, you wouldnt be able to download drivers as you wouldnt be able to connect to the internet. thats the reason you need another computer.

@@randellstevens4545 no but yesterday I typed it again and this time I got like 8 different ip addresses or something but when I went to the next step it didnt work. I'm going to try calling my internet service and see if they can possibly fix it on their end

@@randellstevens4545 Well I found out how to fix the problem. All I did was simply unplug the router and plug it back it and restarted my pc and boom fixed. 😑 apparently the reset button doesn't do jack.

Guys, check if you connected your pc on designated lan port it's not all the same, mine didn't work on lan 2 and 3, but it worked on lan 4 flawlessly.
I use the short way, in w7 , modify nic parameters, if ip assigned, then turn to dhcp, if dhcp, then i assign an ip to see it connects. then shutdown pc, restart. assign dhcp or fixed ip depending. that's it. cheers!

PrinceWULFE did you make sure to run it under admin? If it happens under admin it might read “no operation can be performed on Ethernet while its media is disconnected” then you gotta troubleshoot other solutions

I've tried replacing the cables etc.
I do use a powerline socket but that says its all working so I'm baffled with this its driving me insane.
renewing did not work. "ETHERNET" cant establish connection with DHCP server.
