I just got the 4th edition booklets printed recently. I love them!
Wonderfully written and clearly stated...I had a much easier time with DD than I did with the original game.
Fantastic and very helpful overview! I’m considering picking this up to supplement my Whitebox FMAG campaign.
Quite excited to see you do this video after giving a rather favorable review on the system itself. Wonderful work in providing a rather straightforward tutorial on a more simple style of Dungeon Delving. I indeed look forward to more, being a DM interested in exploring an older style of play
Glad you enjoyed it!
Enjoyed this greatly. I've been wanting to pick up Delving Deeper and WBFMAG to read through. I may do some solo play of the systems, as you make it look fairly straight forward.
Such a great video!!
Thank you!
This is so good. Great content as always! Looking forward to the next one.
Would also love for you to expand on the differences with OD&D and other clones like White Box: FMAG as they come up in your walkthrough.
Thanks. That's a great suggestion. I had considered such a video but I thought it might be a bit dull, but I may do so in the future. The differences in some cases are very minor.
@@rangerlemure I find it interesting from a game design perspective.
The thumbnail is from Warriors of the Eternal Sun. The only D&D game on Sega Genesis. It is based on the Hollow World setting, which is basic/expert system, hence the race as Class. It incorporated the isometric (Ultima) and fps (Eye of the Beholder) perspectives. Awesome game.
Thanks, I didn't know about that game, very interesting.
Absolutely *love* that Fighter’s armor! :D
These are the rules I have been missing all this time! I have: White Box Fantastic Medieval Game, Swords and Wizardry, Basic Fantasy, Old School Essentials, even a print out of Basic D&D redbox. None of them have wilderness genration or dungeon generation. I have had to get other books and supplements, that end up doing it really poorly.
I love Fantastic medieval adventure game, this is my favorite system but I can't understand why the author didn't include some mechanics for example like, evasion and pursuit, number of monsters Appearing, %in Lair
