Hello Andy you've got some really nice projects going on your small feste are unbelievable they look great, I also like the small umbies those will probably turn out pretty too. can't wait to see you make the move with the Festa that ought to be a fun video. make it as long as you want we sure do enjoy them thanks again. maybe in the near future a full feeding video. Hope to see the new video soon and thanks again for this one, and Tara to you sir.
The festae will be the next video. I'm looking forward to having then up in the house. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment Happy fishkeeping to you
Thanks Paul. I need them gone to put Stan and hildas fry in. They have started to give the parents a hard time feeding from there slime coat. Thanks for your continued support taking the time to watch and comment. Happy fishkeeping to you mate.
Thanks for the update, im always interested how your gorgeous cichlids are progressing, love that rtm pair that you have, I picked up a juvenile one about 3 months back from a fish store down the road from me in Stockton near Middlesbrough, was labelled as a jag but when I saw it I knew it was an rtm , it was the only one in the tank so anyway I took it home with me, it’s in a small grow out tank by itself and coming along well , pretty sure it’s a female cos has gorgeous red on it and no spots like the males do. I’m definitely going to try and pick up a male and see if I can get them to pair up in the future sometime, anyway love your videos and looking forward to the festae project 👌👍🐟🐠happy fish keeping
Good luck with your female RTM. Shame your not closer to Boston Lincolnshire. I could fry and grow a male on for you. From the fry in the fishroon. Thanks for your continued support taking the time to watch and comment Happy fishkeeping to you sir
Hey Andy. It’s been a while since we’ve heard from you , how are you doing , hope your well , I just wanted to let you you know that I managed to pick up a male rtm yesterday from my lfs, I hit lucky, a customer had took it in because it was too aggressive with his other fish that’s pretty much all I know other than it was originally purchased from sims tropicals on line. It’s about 5 inches and I’m going to see if I can get my female to pair up with it. Be nice if I can get some babies and perhaps put some out into the hobby , they pretty hard to get hold of up here in Durham , you can only really get them online but it’s pretty expensive with the shipping and that. Any way all the best and hope to see an update on those feastae you’re growing out. Happy fish keeping sir 👍🐠🐟🐟🐠
I'll hang on to to them as long as possible. I'm reluctant to let them go. So where you located.. I'll try to remember you. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Happy fishkeeping to you sir
@@andywoodscichlids2942 I am from the states unfortunately.. not sure if you have ever shipped like that before but I’d cover shipping fees as well!! Thanks Andy for all the inspiration!
Andy- I've kept discus, altum angelfish for years, I want to get into large American cichlids, I've got a 72x30x24 tank, roughly 1000l with the sump, what would you recommend to start with
I’m fascinated that all you use in the garden shed are sponge filters! Is that because each tank has such a light bio load? I have a gorgeous male/female pair in with my red tails and Fly River turtle. She’s about 4 years old and he is just a year so hopefully soon they start getting on..
I love sponge filters, There highly underated, very efficient, cheep to buy and run. But as you say most of my tanks have only a couple of fish in. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment Happy fishkeeping to you sir
Great video andy was your fish room OK with the temperatures we have just had? Insalated my shed with polestyrene all over and think I need to double up after the temps we just had .
I've 4.inch of polestyrene. I do leave the door open on very hot days. If temperature outside is hotter than inside I do get condensation on tank glass. Leaving the door open stops it. I love the hot weather it saves on electricity lol. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment Happy fishkeeping to you sir
@@andywoodscichlids2942 your welcome brother and yes i agree i love the long fins. My rainbow cichlid x Haitiensis took after the black nasty has long fins like them.
I've had a look. Nice pair if parachromis motaguensis, red tiger motos. There not parachromis managuensis, jaguar cichlids. Red tiger mota's are much more sort after. Happy fishkeeping to you sir from England
Hey Andy been watching your videos for years now love every single video you post, if you can come over to my channel and have a look at my recent post you can see my small pair of Cuban cichlids that I have just managed to get to breed.
