Try 9 or 18 golf greens, 3 or 4 times a week retired now but 18 big greens was a real workout when using the Greensmaster .
I can’t even imagine but does sound like fun. Can’t say i would want to do it everyday. Thank you for your support 👍🏻
Great find 👏🏽👏🏽.. Dewayne it can get frustrating and time consuming when searching for a GM. Glad to see ur happy with your purchase. Thanks for sharing ✌🏾
It was definitely a unexpected nice surprise. It also helps having friends that are sharing what they find. I appreciate the support as always. 👍🏻
I found one in PERFECT condition for $200 some scores out there. Cheers
Nice!!! Great find. If your patient you can definitely find one. Be lying if i didn’t say i was jealous 👍🏻
Another great video, Dwayne! Congrats on an amazing purchase. I paid nearly 10x more than you did for my 2014 GM1600 just last month -- and even at that price, it was a leap of faith.
I appreciate the comment and support. I’m
Glad you enjoyed the content. Even though your GM cost more, it is a 1600 which is awesome. Wider is better 👍🏻
1. You don’t have to mow with it throttled all the way up like that, you can back it down some.
2. You should divide your back yard and mow hall with this and have with the CT so we can see a comparison
I was told that soon after i mowed. Lol. That just proves that i am new to this mower and still a novice. I appreciate the comment and tip!!! Love it 👍🏻
Great idea on the content and wish the lawn was still actively growing. I’ll see if this is a possibility but may have to wait till spring. We will see. 👍🏻
Awesome video Dwayne! I just picked up a similar 2006 GM 1000 . I would love to watch a video on how you removed the protruding rubber knobs at both sides of the mower. Thanks!
The transport wheels that came with the unit were ones meant for a trailer setup and not the normal transport wheels. Since i don’t have to travel far from my shed to my lawn transport wheel are not really needed and seem to be more of safety hazard when on the mower. 😂
@@dwaynesworldlawn indeed! It gives the machine a wider footprint than necessary since it lacks the wheels. I’m trying to figure out how to remove the rubber stubs, I don’t see them in the parts catalog. Did you cut them off to expose the wheel shaft or did you remove the entire unit (wheel shaft with rubber overmold) using a special socket? I will try a flat head across the open lock un where the safety pin is to see if it screws off.
When thinking of what you are referring to rubber hub, I’m thinking you had the same ones i had that are meant for a trailer that is made for the GM. I believe there was a metal c type clip on the end of the axle. Somewhat like a cotter pin. I do remember than when removing mine of the sides did not come off and was seized on because of rust. I used some penerating liquid to break up the rust and then may have tapped on them with a hammer to free up more of the rust and then it came. It was a pain. Once i got it off i then was able to use a 1 inch socket and 1 inch wrench to break the axle free. Hope this helps. $350? I really hate you, haha. I bought a brand new Allett Buffalo, it’s great but I want to play with a greensmaster, I can’t lie. 14 blade blows my mind, I realize you can’t let lawn go long without cutting but that’s why God invented PGR. Would love to know HOC max and min because I’m probably going to seek out one of these for my Oklahoma 419 lawn. Looked at an eFlex today online. Going to be interesting where reels go from here.
I’ll may have to wait till next season to give that answer. But I want to mow between 5/8 and 3/4 . I appreciate the feedback and support 👍🏻
@@dwaynesworldlawn 5/8”-3/4” your ideal configuration is an 8 blade reel AND toro clip kit
@@TJP2010555 i would agree. 8 blade is a great option
I see you put those running shoes on 😂
That was By chance and I lucked out. Lol Thanks for the comment and support 👍🏻
Man what a find! $350 is just insane.
Absolutely. It was a risk because you never know what your getting at that price. Took a lot of work to get it cleaned up and still a work in progress but off to a great start. Appreciate the comment and support 👍🏻
That machine was fast! Can you slow it down? I may snag a Toro one day. That was a great cut!
Yes you can. Didn’t realize at time you can lower the throttle to match your walking speed. I was surprised how nice the 14 blade had cut but will most likely change the reel to a lower blade count next year
have you ever tried Allets residential mowers
I featured a battery powered Allett Liberty on my channel as a review. That is the only one i used. 👍🏻
What year is the toro mower?
It’s a 2006
I swear I just saw this on my FB marketplace lol
You are mistaken. Lol. You have a jump quick when they come up 👍🏻
@@dwaynesworldlawn oh I know lol!
