Since the First Run Cicada's were released, I have heard rumors that they are flying considerably more overstable than the Test Flight I highlighted earlier in 2023. Well I need to see this for myself, so I put them to the test! How different are they?

Thank you for the support! I have liked putting both perspectives into the videos, but these types would feel odd hearing the same dialogue twice. Might do more of it in the future
It took me a long time to find a channel that shows a lefty playing. Obviously, the majority of videos are put out by people who are right handed and the terminology in general is bias towards being right handed and being a lefty you are told "just the opposite for left handed." As a visual learner, it is much more helpful actually seeing a flight by a lefty used with the stable/understable terminology rather than imaging what it may be like. I would say show both in the same video. It may be better for the algorithm, attract viewers from both sides of the disc, and save time on your part.

For the regular reviews, I’ll probably stick to keeping both in the same video. This kind of video feels tricky since most of the dialogue is reacting at the moment and felt odd hearing the same thing twice 😅.
I was hoping the Cicada would make for a really good backup to my precious stable Star TL (straight and torque resistant when thrown flat), but in my experience it flies more like my Leopard3 and honestly that Leopard is from a very specific run so I like knowing that there's a more readily available backup option

good review as usual, thanks for making the video. i picked up a first run cicada a few weeks ago. mine seems really flippy? maybe i was throwing it too hard but on flat and even slight hyzer releases at 60-70% it would flip up, turn and never really fade or come back
* i think left and right handed test throws would be awesome
For me the first run is flying exactly like a C-line FD
I vote stick to just lefty lines.
