I used to feel so many things to this song when I was 12 omg now im 21
I forgot this song for couple of years. Then I heard it random on the youtube in some video. The song in that video was "original" but I did not know.. Whole this time I thought this was the original song, and it should be. It's so much emotional, you can actually feel the lyrics and wildness/freedom when she sings it. I'm glad all this time I knew only for this version, this is original for me.

that's really only because this is acoustic and the original is basically a dance song. They aren't comparable in my opinion
@@allisterforest1842 Agree, but word "emotional" of course varies and depend on a person. Maybe for someone the "dance" version will cause more emotion... so in some way I can compare it.
@@evicaf4e true. I only mean to say that acoustic songs tend to have that effect. When you take out all the extra harmony from the other instruments you are left with the melody and the vocals. Then you change that melody from upbeat electronic to somber piano you totally change the mood of the song. Also the lyrics are pretty emotional to begin with.
For a really good example of what I am trying to get at is the song Take on Me by A-ha. The oringal is a very upbeat dance song yet the acoustic version of that same song is vastly more emotional

I noticed that, they sound so similar! But no need to be mad or whatever, they're both beautiful songs (especially when coming from a more mainstream artist like Rihanna). Maybe Mikki Ekko (who wrote 'Stay' and features on it as well) was inspired by this cover? Just a thought... Anyway, they're both beautiful, I can relate to both.
